My favourite lobby bar was the one in Memories varadero beach resort across from grand memories. So far one of my favourite resorts as well

We alternate between Cayo Largo and Cayo Coco. One of the unique features of Cayo Largo is the location in the Caribbean Sea, which is usually better weather in late fall and early winter than the Atlantic based resorts of Cayo Coco, Santa Maria, and Varadero.

@@Finding-FishMelia International is beautiful however first aid and customer service is horrible. My mother had a stroke at the resort before 9:00 am and didn’t get to Varadero clinic at 11:00 am waiting for an ambulance. The hotel did not have an oxygen tank knowing the situation in Cuba. Something minimal that same hotel chain has in their other Caribbean and Mexican resorts. That happened on a Friday morning and we were supposed to check out Sunday. The hotel refused to give us credit for the 2 days we didn’t use

Love Memories Flamenco!! The Beach and Building 1 is Amazing...Must try Building 2 next time. Thanks for your input. We Love the "Diamond Club" upgrade. Always worth the extra $ Loving all of your videos & Reviews.

Thanks again guys, great reviews again, me and my better half ain’t no veterans like you two, but it’s our second trip to Memories Flamenco, we love it there as well, kidless this time, should be a very different experience. But love watching these for future trips, I love the weather and people of Cuba as well. So more visits to Cuba are on my wish list:)

Heading to Flamenco next week you make update videos

I have been to Cuba a dozen times and one of my favourite resorts used to be the Sanctuary and their suites. Unfortunately I booked twice there in 2022 and it’s not what it used to be. I will try the Iberostar Bella Vista next month and got the big star prestige suite. Can’t wait to try this resort and go back to my favourite vacation destination 🏖️😎❤️

I'm a Cuban living in Cuba, I experienced Royalton Hicacos for 4 nights, and it was just amazing, I'm looking forward to visiting Memories Cayo Largo and maybe Royalton Santa Maria, if you'd have to choose between the two Royaltons, which one would you pick to stay 7 nights? I'm also adding Paradisus Rio de Oro to my bucket list. I just subscribed, your reviews are very helpful to plan vacations.

We've been in cayo largo last week of November. We think of two weeks next time so we can do some scuba too. Not sure if it will be good for scuba compares to bonaire or belize.

We haven’t been back to Cuba (Holguin) since I left with 300 bug bites, no water / toilets for days, pool full of toads, sewage smell throughout. Lack of hydro, etc. The other stuff I had gotten use too. (Bland food, dated environment). … Willing to give it another Go. If the price is right. ..Likely to Varadero (not fond of the huge bus rides) or Cayo Coco. …. Instead we’ve been going to Curacao, Aruba, Costa Rica, Mexico & D.R. … where do you find your travel deals ?

You probably don't want to talk about this on a video but have you ever come across a particular group of people from a certain country that dominate the resort, and not in a good way?

I will talk about anything!!! When I travel I’m always happy for what I experience and nothing more!!!! Last week in Santa Maria I talked with travelers from all over the world, not just Canadians Italians, Germany South America Switzerland!!!and ask them about Cuba and the experience, I know that Cuba is in our backyard so to speak, easy for us to travel to if we want. But for many other countries it’s on people’s buck list, because of the beaches and the rawness of the country.

@Finding-Fish The only reason I ask is because a resort I use to go to partnered with an Italian tour company to purchase 75% of the resort rooms. The result is that the animation and tour guides would not talk to your unless you had the proper wrist band and the evening shows were mostly in Italian.

Hey Mike. Going to either Cayo Coco or Santa Maria. Prefer adults only. But my question is .. who had the best a la carte restaurants? Thanks .. I was disappointed with a la carte at the flamenco

I love Cuba but unfortunately for me Cayo Coco was not a great experience. It was too isolated from any real Cuban culture (man made island for those that don't know). The mosquito situation was unbearable, and the activities/nightlife were limited or non existent. The food is what it is, we all know the situation so is to be expected regardless of where you stay. Highlights would have to be the employees which are friendly and super hospitable and of course Playa Pilar

If your looking for a true Cultural Experience!! The Cayo's aren’t the place!!!! I'm From Canada!!!Land of Black Fly, Mostquitos and Deer Flys and Horse Flys that can carry a small child away!!! So Mostquitos can be a problem for some!!!! cheers
