CAUTION: This Rapid chess video may put you to sleep #7

I late-join an Hourly Rapid Arena and share my train of thought as I play 5 games with time control 10+0. This arena began on February 20th, 2024 at 7:01 PM EDT. Many viewers over the years have expressed that these slower time control games act as a sleep aid. You may find that watching these rapid games may help you to improve your chess or help you to reach the rapid eye movement stage of sleep. Enjoy either way. 😊
I'm a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly. Consider subscribing here on KZread for frequent content, and/or connecting via any or all the below social medias. Your support is greatly appreciated. Take care, bye. :)

In the first game, 7. hxg4! Qxh1 8. Ne2 followed by 9. Ng3 trapping the queen is a really satisfying line

@@Jonas-wd8pl simply gxh5 Qxh5 and either Ng3 or Nf4, developing with tempo. White has two pieces for a rook and a massive lead in development. White should be winning.

Not really tho. Ne2 Qh5 Ng3 and the Queen just get away. White is indeed went ahead on development but black have a Rook and a safer King, not to mention you can actually castle Queen side and attack on H file
