2008 Ram 1500 3.7L. Was getting P2096, O2 sensor bank one was constanly .01v no changes so i change all 4 and still get the same code while all sensors fluctuate from .01-.08v Th runs fine engine . i will check all other possible problems you mention and will repost. only code im getting on my Genesis G70. Dealer told me they check everything and can't find any fault recommended the Tune up... expensive to see if that would help. not sure what to do I see no difference in driving.

Dealing with this code after replacing both banks catalytic converter, had p0420, and P0430, no other codes present, or issues were present. fuel trims looked at normal range, now B1 is rich over 14%+, I guess two things happen either I left an exhaust leak, or the A/F sensor is acting up,...when reading B1,S2 volt signal first was stuck in rich(eng. was hot, fuel trims kind normal, over the edge) .08v then after , 30mis the B1S2 signal move stuck lean .02v. Then is when the fuel trim got way out of control, super rich.

I’ve had a p0420 code for a short time and tried several catalytic cleaning methods found on you tube without success. I decided to try an O2 spacer and now I’m getting a p2096. I’m no longer getting a p0420 but I’m thinking I’d rather have the p0420 than the p2096 messing with fuel mixture. I have no drive ability symptoms but the CEL bugs me, besides the fact that the cruise control doesn’t work with the CEL on. 2008 Subaru Forester.

I’m running a catless downpipe and get this code weekly .. I checked and no vacuum or exhaust leaks and replaced O2 sensor I guess this will be a code when catles

Yes, I would also test the injector and coil on cylinder #4.

hi so so i have a p2096 code and (p2271 pending code)and it once shown p0036 but that hasnt reappeared?is my downstream o2 sensor gone bad?2011 kia sorento,i havent noticed any drivability symptoms just CEL,thank you hopefully you could give me advice

Cars are just getting worse and worse with all these cpu issues

Although i agree with that in general but, O2 sensor has been there on cars since late 90s. This is nothing new. The mas air flow sensor is also pretty old. Vacuum leak too.
