We truly don't know. Getting shot in the face or upper body doesn't always immediately drop the person who got hit. Adrenaline is a hell of a drug, my friend. A friend of mine got shot in his face at point blank range. The bullet didn't pierce his skull. It was lodged in his cheek bone.
