Caught My Customer Tracking my Rental Car!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Obviously a BIG NO NO. Mostly because the insurance risk to both parties, but secondly you aren't paying to apply that much wear and tear on the car. See what the process is from here.

Yep you can from some renter, just have to pay way more and wait till it ready, but to be expected as same as you would if it was your own car you get it check out and prepped, as not just about cost, but your safety as well. But done it before to test performance for someone. Even then I treated it with respect till I knew it was capable. Then work on aircraft and cars for a living. Just some are cheap and rather find away around the extra costs associated and put costs on someone else and likely don't realize they actually put themselves at risk.

A) was the car used on the track? yes, gps proves it B) did the person pay for track use? no. Proven by the rental agreement c) what were the damages? 1) wear and tear on the tires cost? easily proven. 2) wear and tear on the fluids. Easily proven by mercedes own service recommendations for track use. Wear and tear on the brakes, again easily proven. Grass in the wheel wells. Photo evidence. Where I live the upper limit for small claims is $5000. You can file yourself for under $300 with the most expensive part being the process server to notify the party that they're being sued. The judges in small claims are usually pretty easy to deal with. They eliminate a LOT of the BS you get in superior court. They realize that most won't have a lawyer and you don't really need to. if the claimant can easily show damages, and the defendant can't easily excuse the damages. If they don't show up? It's a cheap dealer unit about the size of a small match box routed into the starter and ignition wires. You need an account with the tech provider to access these features. I'm sure it would be pricey for an average consumer wanting to use it on just one or two vehicles. So I doubt it's readily available on the open market. I worked as an install tech for a while, and we just closed the account and let them go with most vehicles once paid off, like this guy mentioned.
