The more I hear about the Prototype, the more curious (and worried) I become. It clearly has some kind of master plan involving the dead bodies of the sentient toys. We’ve already seen it take the dead body of Catnap and upper half of Mommy Long Legs when she died.

I'll never understand catnip to this day but if catnap was basically an original creation that was corrupted or actually human I feel so bad for him or her because all of these poppy playtime characters always got an ending Creepypasta backstory

I have two other theories are to why the prototype kill Catnap. 1. The prototype is angry that Catnap failed and didn’t wanna give him anymore chances. and 2. Catnap Play kids allegiance to the prototype and told his lawyer to kill him because he would praise him even if he failed. Those are my beliefs on what happened.

The prototype either wants or needs additional parts from other experiments, and likely put catnap in a position to get as many parts he needs, because catnap would help the prototype do anything he needed

That is sad l’ve heard of CatNap’s lore and backstory and it’s really sad that this kid had experience that, imagine someone goes through that IRL, l hope Chapter 4 comes out sooner or later so we can find out the Prototype’s true identity, l also have a theory who attacked Kissy Missy l think it’s one of Playtime CO’s old mascot toys, such as: Boogie Bot, CatBee, Bron the Dinosaur and many others, l think they attacked Kissy Missy, because Poppy, Kissy Missy and Huggy Wuggy were really popular back in the day, and those old mascots became really jealous of the popularity of those toys, (and think of it, maybe CatNap was not the only one who was part of the bigger body experiments, l think of those old toys were kids inside them two, or at least have the mind of them, anyways l think those toys attacked Kissy for the way the old mascots were treated)

I think both of your theories are correct I support your theories and I hope they're right when chapter 4 comes out

This is why I perfer the cartoon versions of the smiling critters they're so much more fun and a lot less dismember-y

You should do a mod explanation of the shaggy mod which is very interesting in my opinion and would be fun to watch

Fun Fact: There's a form that if you inhale the red smoke you seeing a terrifying version of catnap that called "Nightmare Catnap", it's creepy colourless skeletal version of the original catnap. it's also found first in the 1st tape before you encounter catnap of Poppy Playtime ch.3

If this mod does continue i’d like to see some battles with Poppy herself, The mini critters, Miss Delight, Dogday, and possibly Ollie (On the phone). He deserves a chance.

My theory : catnap didn't actually died but we hallucinate that the prototype killed catnap by the scene that we see mommy long legs getting drag by the prototype he's still out ollie acted that's he's proud of the player that he killed catnap but in reality he knows that catnap isn't dead so he making the player feels secure and he might be back in chapter 4

catnap considers catnap his god, and catnap LET the prototype kill him, he was actually sacrificing himself to his god
