Yes specially cars with battery swaping, when ever tech change, you will get the fresh update, no need to change the car for a better chemistry

The battery tech I find most interesting is the Graphene Aluminium ion battery that GMG are developing

QS has already produced a commercially viable solid state battery. Their factory is finished. Massive rollout now is expected. 24 layer cells.

Who needs solid state, LFP and NMC are already amazing

Not really, modern NCM needs replacing every 10-15 years, best use case, that's thousands of Euros of added cost to the car over it's use, not to speak about its resell value going down because of it. I know there's people out there that like replacing the car every 10 seconds, but this is not the majority of people. My parents have their old Ford Mondeo for 26 years and it's still kicking! At this point it's true that the car is basically falling apart but my parents don't care and many are like this. Only LFP, Sodium Ion and Solid State have the potential to last as much or longer than how long my parents have had their car, not NCM. So my point is it may be amazing but there's a lot of room for improvement and it's not terminal technology in the slightest.
