    Look at that Torque when the RPM Drops now that's what you call a beast of a engine! Low RPM Maximum Torque!

    Hello, Thanks! we use a Taylor Cooling Tower and 15000Liters of cold water that is cooled by a external Cooling Tower on the Roof of the building Thanks For Watching! Regards Kris

    @@northessextransportvideos4304 You are wrong are 2500nm, a 530hp scania gives 2800nm, that 18 liter Cat gives less torque than a 2016 500hp scania.

    this an engine out of either a D9 dozer or scraper looking at the turbocharger having the exhaust facing the front and having a full oil pan. You need to change the oil pan, turbo, exhaust manifold, and inlet elbow to put this in a truck. If youre going to do all that get a marine engine with 880 - 1001 hp / 2696 - 3373 torque and have an engine that makes a ton of power at a low RPM and have it get excellent fuel economy.

    The version of this engine I am used to seeing has two individual turbochargers, one on each 3 cylinder half of the engine. . Not sequential either just two smallish turbochargers side by side.

    Nice dyno set up! What do you use to cool the engine water? I work in a small workshop in Australia who not too long ago built a dyno room with a similar looking Taylor dyno :). Your videos look good.

    Hello, the engine is not mechanical , its electronic but its a mechanical throttle like it would be in the machine.... hahaha, it looks strange but it is full electronic.... :-) Regards, Kris

    No air to air cooler. Guaranteed the iat had the ecm pulling power back.

    We use a water-cooled air cooler, what gives us even better results that a air-air cooler. In a dyno room you can hardly use a air-air cooler as the room temperature get's very hot and there is no driving wind...

    Water to air would definitely be better for a dyno. Not sure how you are using it though. I see a tube from turbo compressor to intake.

    2200 NM is only 1700 ft lbs. I would expect that engine to break your dyno

    Where's air to air cooler like it should have power a bit low for C18 most are 575 to 1000 hp from factory

    There used in land of down under pulling truck trains. Yes no air to air has Hugh effect on power. C18 same size as c15 you can get one here in the states used in big airport firetruck range from 800 to 650 hp

    @ULCC these engines are used in a massive variety of vehicles, boats, and generators. Several miliary vehicles utilize these engines, including armored personnel carriers, transport carriers, and even vehicles that place bridges across rivers for troops, vehicles, supplies, etc. They're also used by fire departments, farmers, road and bridge builders, and many other industries

    2550 nm, i se in the video, but this engine is the version of a single turbo... the powerful versions have 2 turbos and up of 650-750 hp

    @@lametraserillos1 the twin turbo ACERT is an emissions erray not power. ACERT eliminated thE need for EGR it actually makes less power than a single turbo.

    @@lametraserillos1 the acert turbo setups suck power and take forever to spool. Anyone who has done a single turbo conversion on them can testify. Just because it has two turbos doesn't mean it has more power. The acert crap was an emissions gamble that screwed engine performance. There is an insane amount of heat soak from the packaging and restrictions of an acert turbo system. Compounds can be done properly, but cat was more concerned about emissions than reliability, performance, or fuel economy.
