I wished I did, far too late now because the man that killed her is dead. I do not think I could have proved it anyway. I think it ate at him his entire life. God forgive him, and I know my sister has forgiven him. I could not imagine that guilt or pain on anyone's conscious.

With sheer grit and determination, Lee Anne got justice for her deceased, murdered brother! Hats off to her!

It is rare to find such brilliant movies these days, very compelling true story. I have to praise the acting of both Catherine MCrae and Aidee Walker in this. They captured the raw passions and emotions of the story, not to mention the uncanny resemblance to the real life characters. Great stuff.

The actress that played LeAnn was so wonderful. So talented. She brought me to tears several times she played such an emotional part. She was just great. This is a sad story. I felt so bad for the family and what they all had to endure. I am so in awe of the sister who worked so hard for the truth. A very brave woman who actually put herself in danger when staying at Helen's house after she realized that Helen killed Phil. Great movie but sad too. .

Those who are fortunate to have a sibling will appreciate the love and devotion that Lee-Anne had for her brother Philip. She fought like a dog with a bone to discover the truth about her brother's death. The story, the acting...the script, music etc. were done beautifully. Thank you for bringing this to KZread. I highly recommend it. It is a great true crime mystery with a heartfelt message. ( Subscribed)

Much love to the sister! She never gave up! This also shows how police/detectives will let their ego cloud their better judgement. She did their job and did a better job! Thank goodness for the new detective! He went the extra mile, did his due diligence, and helped bring a murderer to justice!!!

A long and difficult fight for Lee-Anne to get justice for her murdered brother and she did it. A well acted portrayal of the determination and agony she and her family endured. Good movie, well worth watching.

So glad justice was served, great acting and much success to Lee-Anne on her new career.

Amazing, glad that Phil's sister's fortitude played out and the truth came out.

This was so realistic... having studied narcissism for my own reasons one of the tell tale signs is they tell you what they are doing often by accusing others like that scene in the cafeteria at work telling her work buddies about her husband putting tons of sugar in her food and than in the same breath talking about procuring rat poison.. brilliant movie and also the sister reacting so profoundily and so normal under those circumstances.. thanks for this. Great job considering the position the grieving family had to be in, finally justice was served ! I would also like to thank the Directors for presenting this film in a respectful manner. Often times Hollywood likes to sensationalize such actions with gory details. Though he is with the Angels, I'm certain that Phil would approve of how the surrounding facts were delivered. Rest in Peace my good man ...

Her determinations and diligence gave her Brother final peace. His spirit was long her side the whole time. Justice indeed was served at it's best.

Lucky to a brother who have a smart sister who prove the world about fighting what was thruth. This movie is worth watching for. Lee Ann is a brave sister even though the police did not do their job to investigate,as a sister she's doing her part and i salute her smart move.

Police department have numerous number of cases so they won't handle em all, some are meant to be dropped due lack of evidence. Remember we can't focus on 1 case out of hundreds 😭

Some great acting in this film. The endless frustration Phil's sister had to endure to get justice done and the cruel, cold, calculating wife who was so sure of herself were so realistically portrayed.

That was really a superb movie. I found it a little difficult to figure out who belonged to which family but other than that, it was superb. What an incredible sister Phil had! It’s a very inspiring story of loving perseverance. ❤️

It’s amazing how much work it takes to motivate the wheels of justice to turn. Its not a wonder so many take the law into their own hands. This lady was practically handing the cops enough probable cause to haul Helen in for questioning. What else did they need, to have it all gift wrapped?

I know, right. Disgusting. Not much difference with Europe. (I witnessed very close to firsthand how they bungled and subsequently dismissed the investigation into a suspicious disapperance and death.) And then to learn they actually have officers go ''undercover" pretending to be violent protesters at peaceful corona government policy protests -it makes you wonder why the heck we still have them. I mean, I know to implode a country you must, among others, shut down law enforcement and I'm sure some cops are honorable, but, my goodness, they're doing a perfectly great job getting folks to loathe them.

It's hard to believe that ,if Lee anne had not pursued this case, Helen would most certainly have got away with it ... The police would have done NOTHING! How many people have got away with murder because the police simply could not be bothered to investigate.. Thank goodness Lee anne did not give up...

What an emotional film! I thought the case would be dropped after Leeann spilled the beans to her sis-in-law. She was really in alot of emotions trying to get evidences, talking to people of the law. Leeann was a brave woman. Kudos to her bravery.

I know that LeAnn was stressed out but I have to admit that sometimes she made the case harder to deal with by some of the reckless things she would say when her emotions got out of control. 😮😮😮

A great soul searching movie and well acted and for a loving sister to keep digging for the truth of her brother's death by this woman .

Top notch from beginning to end. The anguish and frustrations were expertly conveyed.

Very good movie...refreshing to see different way of filming...acting..just like a documentary almost...we need more from this group...

Excellent cinematography, camera angles and acting. Great timing. Kept me on the edge of my seat.

A really touching movie about a sister's love for her brother. I hope that if anything had to happen to my siblings or family I would be able to get justice for them like this and honour their lives. May not be a Scorcese movie but it was engaging and full of heart and love for Phil. Rip Phil.

Aidee walker who played Leanne is a very good actress, very believable and watchable. I lost my sister in similar circumstances. Thanks for posting this.

i enjoyed this film and went through the emotions as she did, the police were crap even after she provided them with so much evidence that she went out of her way to get, something they should have done. Im glad that the last officer saw it the way LeeAnn did and helped her.

Such a good movie! They got the characters actors perfect! Lee Anne is an amazing sister, Phil was lucky to have her.

Anyone having trouble hearing this,I have the volume all the way up and it's still difficult.With that being said, this movie was well written and well played by all the actors,especially, the actress that played Lee-Anne.Bless this whole family that went through this awful nightmare and the tenacity of Lee-Anne.The evil monster that killed her brother,may she rot in hell after she is done on this earth.

I agree it was a good movie but I had to put the volume on high also and still could not hear it.

Great movie, it’s worth watching, true story.

There are so many angles to comment on this movie. I could say one thing though. The justice system process here is a lot more realistic than fictional stories. You are just left speechless on how it was Lee-Anne who did the police work and the lawyer's work as well. I see a very inspiring side of the story and that is about how solid the family is.

This was a good fact based story..which sadly occurs far too often..never let anyone get cremated till cleared..

My friend was cremated they opened the box to sling her ashes instead of just buring the box there was big as your fist white rocks instead of ashes her wish was to be scattered on side of her family grave.

I suppose it depends on who your sister is. Unfortunately my sister is wired differently to me & doesn't have the same capacity for love, compassion and forgiveness as I do. I don't love her any less if anything I love her more in the hope that one day she will.

Sarah I've a half sister, since falling out with my Dad 15 years ago we've hardly spoken. Same with my brother. Can never agree when people say 'family love is never broken' or words similar.

What a lovely film this was, despite the tragic story line. It was a joy to watch and see justice served and all because of the love of a sister for her brother. Thank you for uploading 💖

But for Detective Senior Sergeant Murton, the woman would have gotten away with cold blooded murder. Every man should be lucky to have a sister like Lee-Anne, a woman of love, conviction and grit. Couldn’t help going through her helplessness throughout the movie. Finally, justice served.

She won through in the end; Well done for persevering

Such a great film from beginning to end. She never gave up!
