I love these cheesy disaster movies and the cheese is strong with both of these. The SFX in both are fair the acting is good and writing is fair. These aren't big budget Hollywood blockbusters so if you go in expecting Twister you're going to be disappointed but if you go in expect a pair of fairly good low budget disaster movies these are the movies for you. If you strapped me down and sparked up the cattle prod and made me choose I'd go Ice Twister it's a little slower to start but once it hits the gas it doesn't stop. now I want make it clear catch me on a different day I may of gone the other way. Watch, enjoy and may the cheese be with you.

What I am trying to determine is, when people see something coming at them, why do they just stand there, or sit there until it is too late????? I hope that this does not happen in real life, because I won't listen to the so-called experts, and the reason is that they are usually wrong, which could get people killed.

This movie was better than twister I have been through 3 tornadoes and twister didn’t compare.

Enjoyed Polar Storm. One of the better ones I’ve seen in a while. Had me on the edge. I give it 5 *. Thanks. Ice Twisters gets 2*.

Managed 6 minutes of Polar Storm fast forward to Ice Twisters, good movie watched till the end.

i love how in movies like these, their computer programs were all designed with everything that's unexpected in these movies in mind, like a program with no reason to hunt for ozone breaches with an ozone breach detected window, a satellite aiming meter, "sudden drop" alerts for temperature, etc. soooo good lol

not to mention even with the engines turned off they would still have to be in a faraday box/cage of some sort. Your electronics fry on or off.

And he was never mentioned again. Same with the Air Force SP that brought the professor to his house. He just disappeared. The girl from the bakery just disappeared as well. The SP could have been given orders by the professor to stay and protect his son and wife. Plus the bakery girl and mom were hot. And that means a lot when the world ends in 48 hours.

I've seen an Ice Storm. They're very dangerous. Dangerous winds, freezing temperatures. Lot of damage. But they were very helpful at at getting rid of that pesky Sharknados. Froze them darned ole sharks right up. Turned those ole 'naders into giant popsicles, that's how dangerous Ice Storms can be.

KZread is constantly amazing me with its selection of good movies. Movies that one might not necessarily go to the theaters to see, yet one will find totally entertaining for home viewing. This film had suspense, plot, dialogue and the other elements to keep the viewer entertained. Kudus for this movie, casting, and YoutTube.

Pretty Damn Good Movie Honestly

The special effects look so cheese! I love it! I also love the working phone booth in the middle of the nowhere (on a random road). Also, why does the Russian captain has such a weird face throughout the whole movie (at least every time we see him)? Is that what we think Russian people look like? So funny!

Yes, drop a zero and half the result and you might be closer to the operating depth of a submarine.

Polar Storm is not bad for a typical disaster movie, the end is a bit underwhelming and abrupt though!

First one, wont happen in reality but is interesting movie. Second one will most probably happen. Ice age or water-world made by human greed. It too is a good movie. The heroine of the 2nd movie is really the kind of people we need in high posts. Good acting too!

For the last month or so ,so bad in fact that I haven’t even been able to tend to my garden that’s in my backyard ….sinus infection over allergies, eyes running nose, stuffy, throat hurting. as soon as I’m outside for longer than five minutes …But in real life, they would never do this.🖕🏾 and we’re not even gonna start on the hail storm that blew through here and tore a lot of my babies (plants)out!!! How about As many times, as Joanne cried, not one tear dropped 😂😂😂

Those Uni film & TV students are in a room with the main characters & weren’t recording them in deep conversations about the disaster they decided was their main story. Couldn’t believe it, he had the camera in his hand, but wasn’t recording…a few scenes later, he goes a grabs the camera & starts to record & I was “it’s about time!” Then that was it, next scene he’s put the camera down again. Hope he failed the course.

no way that submarine could got even close to the bottom of the trench at 35,000 feet without imploding. Maybe 1000 feet at most, so unrealistic. If it was a true pole reversal, there maybe a small brief of time that their was zero gauss before the field return.

This is so cheesy but I watch it about once a year.😂

I haven't seen the second one yet but the first was lots of fun! The script, direction, acting and production values may not rate an A but it's a solid B+. [Two mistakes however. 1) you want a 100 megaton bomb? Ask Russia because they still the casing for the 2nd Tsar Bomba that was never used; just put its guts back in. 2) No submarine ever built, and possibly no submersible, can dive to the bottom of the Marianas Trench. Or a sub could make the dive if its crew wanted their boat turned into a mass of metal the size of a Morris Mini. Still enjoyed the film!]

We are taking this old diesel submarine to the bottom of the Mariana trench that won't crush us to paste and detonate these two ancient 70-year-old 50-megaton atom bombs that should not work under ideal circumstances?
