This was am Amazing movie.This Pastor and his family exemplifies "True" Christianity! The church was Blessed to have such a Pastor! He is human but when he struggled, he always prayed to God for strength and guidance so he could better serve his family and congregation. THE REESES were also beautiful people. R.I.H.I.P.

When LIGHT comes into darkness...JOY comes in full !!

I would distrust anyone that portrays such a perfect, happy life.

The pastor was an idiot to not call police the first night and the pastors wife too. The first time she couldn't We need to trust our instincts. The pastors wife should have called police for wellness check.

At times in life! Good people just died and was killed with no reasons at all but victims of bad people of this world.

I have watched the entire movie and it was great!!!! After a while, the acting got better and it had a great message!!!

My whole life I had the gift of dreams as well as what one calls an being an empath. My dreams that are meant to show me warnings always come true. My latest dream came true and now I am afraid that the one I had prior will as well. They weren't about me but family members. I don't sleep for this very reason. It scares me to see things that I can't change. It is starting to tear my body down. I've had painful leg wounds for months now and they won't heal and they are driving me crazy. I am going down fast and I am starting to get scared. Those of you who will really pray, please say an earnest prayer for my health. God bless everyone!

I listen to a Minister by the name of Kevin Ewing on youtube he teaches on dreams and back it up with scriptures, I have been listening to him now a year, found him by chance as a believer I don t believe in chance. I was led by the Holy Sprit. Check him out

Fathers should have their children watch this movie just for That point you made.

This movie was based on a true story. For the ones who got murdered, RIP, God fearing children of God. This movie and the people whose lives it has affected, and how strong their faith is, is very moving. Praise be the Lord to know there are people who are called by His name preaching, and living a Godly life. Peace be with you all!

The lead actor bears a striking resemblance to Christopher Reeve (who played Superman, was paralysed in an accident and has now passed) and the family name of the murdered couple was also Reeve. Interesting coincidence.

What an AWESOME goal to have, love!! Stick to your beliefs & NEVER compromise or SETTLE!! It breaks my heart that, in today's society, girls seem to throw away/relax what they want from a partner, & in the ideals of how a boy SHOULD treat them, just because they want to be POPULAR, or want the boys to like them a LOT!! Some girls end up doing anything & everything that boys WANT them to, just because they think that they have to ALWAYS have a guy! They're not confident or secure enough in THEMSELVES to realize that they're JUST FINE on their own! Idk if you're old enough for dating yet, but something that I read, a long time ago, that sounded BRILLIANT & that YOU might find helpful, is: when a boy asks you out, or if you're trying to decide whether or not you should stay in a relationship, go to the "LOVE IS" part of the Bible!! Love is FAITHFUL; Love is KIND...etc., & replace the "Love Is" part with the boy's name!! James is FAITHFUL; James is KIND; etc.!! You will have your answer!! :) Another BRILLIANT thing that I read is: If you want to know how a guy handles stress or frustration, or how he acts when he gets frustrated or angry, MAKE HIM UNTANGLE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS!!! lol. The head cop/investigator and the wife were the best actors. He was hunky and wonderful in every scene. Might watch this movie again.... ☺️

Couldn’t believe the son didn’t call police right away after seeing his parents’s murdering.

Just amazing how the pastor kept his faith and kept a cool head amongst all the fear and pain🙏💜🧡💙

Im learning to pray when i wake up. When i have an unpleasant or confusing dream, i pray about it and i cancel it. Confusing dreams shouldnt be left to chance because God is not the author of confusion. I also pray for the people i saw in those unpleasant dreams.

At least the Police are concerned, and doing everything they can to solve this case. Usually they just brush it off and expect you to go about life without being concerned In a case like this. Great movie!

Betwixt&Between, Ditto. A lot of the comments were bizarre as well. Sex and profanity. How can they be compared to murder ??? Yes, I thought the characters, the church goers and pastor/family were like automatons. The son was a better actor, though. For the most part, the others were creepy, body snatchers. Upon further thought, maybe the actors were portraying real people like automatons, because that's what they are. "Christian production ?"

I thought the same thing. Having six kids and having a kitchen immaculate all the time it’s just not reality. Unless they had a live-in maid which they didn’t. But it was a great movie and great acting.

Few minutes at the outset of the movie when the Pastor seems to be crying, I was suspecting him to be the culprit, I was wrong.

I believe this movie was trying to teach us to put our faith first and not doubt our faith.

I really like this story, how to see God works using a husband and wife who fear God to overcome all their fears in responding to the horrific murder of a pair of God's servants, and I like the life of God's servant and his 6 children who are all loyal and love each other and they always pray with faith

Never mind the negative comments below. This is a good movie and worth watching. I looked up the real crime. The killer was paroled in 2011 and absconded to Florida. He was caught and thrown back in prison.

A very good movie about not giving in to fear. A lesson a lot of us could use.

Spot on movie, very realistic. I know people just like this; all the symptoms; mental fractures, strong in faith, calm veneer and criminal intent. Worth watching.

If you are not certain about there being a Heaven and a Hell you need to get serious about reading through the entire Bible. It only takes on average 15 min. of reading per-day to read through the Bible. I will finish my 23rd reading this Dec. 31, if not raptured first... If you don't believe that much in there being a God or that the Holy Spirit guide the Christian then please Google: "Watchman On The Wall - The Greatert Message." More true story movies shows the evil and good in our society

As a movie...80% of the almost 2 hours are they praying, crying or laughing. In 2 hours absolutely nothing happens. It's like watching a lifetime movie where nothing happens.

I actually agree with your impression of the movie. I’m not one to need instant gratification while watching a movie. I like a STORY to unfold and get to know the characters but there wasn’t much of a story in this movie. I don’t understand why the pastor and wife were the focus other than the faith part, which I get because I am a Christian so I do enjoy faith-based movies but this one missed the mark. The acting was pretty bad too but it’s not always a dealbreaker for me. For example: I enjoyed watching those movies about the rapture and the acting was terrible but I could overlook it because the story was effective. This movie went nowhere.

True stories are usually good movies, thank you..
