We launch Catapult Balsa Gliders in RC Combat. Why? Because, Why not? We do things differently here on Nighthawk Gliders... So, check it out!

Yeah, sometimes we don't exactly follow the rules... but, one could argue... are there really any rules for RC combat?
At Flite Fest, RC Combat is a tradition. It's a must. It's a right of passage, It's just loads of fun. I guess since we are not exactly experts at RC airplanes, why not enter a couple free-flight CLG Gliders?

Yeah! A lot of crazy stuff like that happens all the time!! So fun! Say, we may have to collaborate sometime. Airplanes are free-flight gliders! 😀

sweet! Fun, to the point, Snazzy designs, and well, they FLY WELL.. count me in! Off to Sky Hobby to find me some balsa wood and GLUE.... (Ah, Those were the dayz, my friend, Balsa, silkspan, dope paint, wood glue)

Ha! I didn't see you guys launch, but someone told me they had seen an elastic launch glider go down in the beans near where I was. I looked and looked for that thing! Now I see why I didn't find it. LOL! Hope to see you guys there next year!

Yup! That was us! We expected to never find them again, but we did! We’ll be there next year, for sure... certainly with bigger gliders! 😀

Nothing is better than a good free flight airplane. I spent so much of my youth studying my little models in flight. It still calls to me today.
will there be a flite fest thsi year or not cause of COVID?

I don’t know... let’s hope this virus goes away soon enough.
Somebody gave me huge box of balsa wood sheets and thanks to you I may be able to use some of it now.

Yes, we’ll have to try better next year to bring an RC plane down! I think we can do it. We may need more CLG planes! Lol! 😊

Flite Fest started in Ohio. But, they have hosted in Florida, Texas, and California. Fun stuff!
