I love how more cat-like Cat is in the first series. His nature is just like a cat: hungry, self-centred, fastidiously groomed, and adorable. 😊 He's one of my favourite characters along with Kryten, Holly, and Lister.

Well, that depends on what you mean by "cat-like." In the first series, he's lone cat-like, but by and by he starts to care about his friends a bit and becomes more housecat like.
