I can’t believe my eyes! 😂 Grooming is a bonding experience. I hope people with pets continue to groom them by hand. I wouldn’t trust a robot to shave my legs. 😊

What about disabled people? Not everyone can physically groom their pets. Devices like these are very helpful for people who have disabilities and obviously improve quality of life and make owning and taking care of a pet more accessible.

@@ToxicNeonNice idea in theory. I’m not convinced this is safe in the long term. It looks like it shaves the cat every time it goes through but just those patches. If the cat has any matting at all it could be painful and dangerous. At least when you manually groom you can feel around in case of nicks, spots, bumps etc. Not sure what disabled people who can’t groom pets do, except have groomers do it.

​@@scoobysnax8127 Shaving? It's just picking up loose fur. From the looks of it, it's the same material as used in the re-usable lint rollers. Actually impossible to get hurt on something like that.

If the cat is having fun with it and the human still brushes the cat too then Ok, but otherwise why? ^^ a) grooming is interactive and bonding for the cat human relationship b) grooming your cat is a chance for health-check (checking for lumps, injuries, skin-condition etc) c) it's not like it brushes the whole body when only a few spots walking through are in contact ^^ and instead of cleaning a brush now a whole set-up needs to be cleaned ^^

This is really kind of brilliant. Whoever designed it knows cat behavior. Cat can lose all that loose fur this way instead of on you or the furniture. My cats would have loved it. I couldn't wear black when I had kitties. This would have helped.

This would also cut down on allergic reactions to the cat because the loose fur isn't floating in the air and everywhere. Super easy for cat and human to use. This just makes so much sense to me knowing all the cats I've had over my lifetime.

If this actually worked, I might think about it for my cat. Somehow I think she'd end up ignoring the Pawswing once it's setup and sleeping in the shipping box instead.

I personally really love this idea! I have a cat that absolutely will not let me near him. I have no idea why. I have literally had this cat since 2008! He used to let me brush him, he actually really liked it. However after my other cat passed away he won't go near any human. It's seriously so sad and it breaks my heart. He must think if he comes near us, he won't come back?? I dunno really. What I do know is he will use that half circle brush thing to groom himself. I really think he would love this! So for all the people who have no use for one, GREAT! I love that for you! But it's not stupid, ridiculous, a waste of money, or for lazy people. What about people with arthritis? Or handicapped people? Or a cat that wants to be brushed when they want to be brushed? Why post such negative comments? If it's not for you then so be it. No reason to fill the comments with negativity, no reason to comment at all. Let the developers have their moment and scroll on!

I just don't see the automatic component. You still have to lift out the plastic front and clean out all the little brushes by hand rather then something like a vacuum that sucks up the hair. Granted I don't think the cat would like the vacuum noise.
