It's misinformation. All cats regardless of fur color can be completely different. For instance every orange cat I know is typically quite mean with few actually being affectionate. And I have had 3 black cays in my life all completely different. 1 always hid away and rarely showed herself, but when she did she was usually just friendly. 2 was the most affectionate cat in the world and he always wanted love(but that's because he was half manecoon, the species of cat largely determines their personality not just the color as different species have lots of the same colors.) And the 3rd is extremely bi-polar and similar to how the video describes.

Black cats are the calmest and most affectionate cats. I've had 4 of them through my life and they were so sweet.

Bro my black cat attacks my leg, gives me 1852 scratches a day, runs around the hallway and goes up and down the stairs at 1 AM exactly, put a hole in the couch from scratching it so much, opens my door and breaks into my room atleast once a day, sometimes tries to rip my eyeball out, bites my cheek, and then all of a sudden turns into the sweetest cat you’ve ever met randomly😭

My tuxedo is the most chill, cuddly and purring floofball. I had two cow cats (one current one, the last one passed away). The first was dumb and absolutely hated getting cuddled. The current one also has half a brain cell, but he's super cuddly albeit a bit crazy. With tabbies I had aggressive, calm and cuddly, and grumpy old man (who still had a soft side) 😊

I once had a wonderful solid black cat. He was gentle and very intelligent. He preferred his cat food over any people food, including meat, which I thought was odd. He never scratched or bit me. He climbed in the Christmas tree every year without causing any mess. Even as a kitten. He preferred running water over the dish. He also answered to his name. I think he was insulted by kitty calls. He never sprayed in the house. When he died, I never had another like him. RIP my beloved Seto. You are still missed.❤

I've had 2 full black cats before and they were both complete babies that just wanted to be loved. I currently have a smoke/tuxedo (the "black" portion is actually only black tipped, the base of the fur is actually white) and he's the most chill cat I've ever met, nothing phases him.

Cats don't feel ticklish, the feeling registers as itchy.

My cat was black and she wasn't that way. She was an angel, no scratching or biting❤

The color pallette thing is actually true from my experience. One time a random orange stray snuk up on me in the park while i was smoking on the bench, and immediately befriended on me and even ckimbed onto my back & shoulders a couple times and hungout there for a bit

We have 3 black cats and its weird how different they are. We have Sephie, our first black cat. Then Sophie, our 2nd and smallest. And then Jasper. The fluffiest and biggest cat out of the 3.

I knew a calico cat, one of the calmest, sweetest, most gentle kitty ever. I miss Nala, my old neighbor's adopted rescue kitty 🐈❤❤ Edit: Okay, everyone seems to think that Nala is dead. She's not, I just moved to a different city. But before my old neighbors adopted her, she was abused and neglected by her previous family. They wouldn't feed her, me and my friends would feed her. When those awful neighbors moved out, they left her in the streets. My old neighbors took her in. Her name was Kiki, and they renamed her Nala. She's the sweetest girl. I just haven't seen her in awhile.

In my experience black cats are super friendly and really happy to get any positive attention this was also agreed by the animal hospital veterinary nurse in my town.

Black cats will always be my favorite, grew up with one of the most cuddliest black kitty. Had her for 16 years. She unfortunately passed away earlier this month. I miss you Boo, you truly were the best cat anyone could ask for.

My black cat was so snugglu and good with people, and one time we had our chickens out and a coyote came and the cat chased it away saving the chickens because it saw me and my sister petting and feeding them, the cat even slept outside of the chicken cage that day.

I have 2 orange males one is super sweet and the other is moody. I had a black cat who was sweet and friendly.

I had 3 tuxedo cats. One had a peanut pattern on its noise, and one had a coat button shape. The third was their mother, and while she didn't have noticeable patterns on her noise. She did have black feet with white legs on her front and full black legs on her back, making it look like she was wearing boots and mittens. If you're curious, they were named peanut, bottons, and mittens.

When I had a black cat a couple of months ago, (keep in mind, yea, i know all cats aren't the same, buttt) she was the sweetest thing on this planet. She had separation anxiety, so she was close to alot of people. She was so friendly, loving and caring. I wish I still had her❤

I had a cat who had to go in for surgery a few months after I adopted him. When they were bringing him out I could hear him hissing and growling. I called out "Hey buddy, ready to go home?" and he was instantly quiet. He knew he wasn't abandoned and Daddy was here.

Black cats are secretive, I own one, I also own an orange cat, does parkour off of peoples backs 😂

I have a cat who absolutely can taste sweet and prefers it. She chooses sweet tea over plain tea, cereal milk over plain milk, etc.

My black cat was insanely sweet and chill. Even when we were driving her home from the shelter she didn't make a single peep. To this day I have never seen another cat in person go quietly in a car ride.
