Cat 14B Grader Cold Start and blading.

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Quick little video from the same place that we got the RayGo GIANT going near Devon, AB. The grader hadn't ran in about a year and the glow plugs don't work so we had to give a little shot of ether to get her going. Then I cleared of the vegetation for a new area where equipment will start getting moved for display at the museum. Also using this video to try working in the real sound with the drone footage and seeing how it works out, so also a bit of an experiment video. Short and sweet! Don't forget to like and subscribe it really helps me out. Thanks and don't forget I am Ironman.

Hey Bryce - unfortunately we got an inch of rain the night before and we didn’t have much of a plow day it was to wet we tried but we just broke lots of stuff cause everything was plugging up and too heavy. Sorry sir - Mother Nature was not in our favour.

I’ve always wanted to try to operate a grader I almost got a chance to the neighbor had one and we got it running but before I could get a chance to try it he had it grading the old road/driveway and got it in a hard pull and broke the axle that drives the chain on the right side and we tried and tried to get the broken piece out but couldn’t it broke at the spline at the diff something wedged it in tight

Some - been slowly plugging away at refurbishing pistons and liners - summer is really hard for me to work on projects with work I have to travel a lot all over the place.

@@ironman3406 I understand entirely. I will be watching when you get videos on it. My pistons were fine, just needed cleaning up. Mine is 6 3/4 and the one none cracked cylinder was in very good reusable condition. The 3 replacement cylinders were pitted but were 6 1/2 so bored to 6 3/4 and I was good to go. The bearings weren’t that good but I didn’t want to postpone the project a couple more years to get new ones poured.
