    Hey, loved the play, came across seeing after you chatting with Charlie Carrel. Just curious - you tend to shove a lot of nut rivers, would you not get more value from betting small and targeting under pairs, or induce some bluffs?

  • @GingePoker

    When you move up in stakes people know I'll shove these rivers as bluffs so should still pay my value - but of course it's all villain dependant

    Great content thanks so much :) Quick question at @5:31 with a set you said you will go for check-raise as you have the 5 of spades. Could you please elaborate your thought process of why having the spade makes you go one way or the other in this scenario. Thanks

  • @GingePoker

    @GingePoker

    4 жыл бұрын

    Zain Syed it's about the times it goes check check, I'm less worried about the spade coming, in also less likely to get raised by a potential draw. But essentially because it's safer to give a free card.

  • @GingePoker

    @GingePoker

    There's no advantage or disadvantage to either it just lowers variance. In general you should run it less vs fish because when you get it in you want to 'catch them' before someone else does - but it really doesn't matter

    Hi :) Can you explain the A3 of diamond on 8 min please ? As I tried to write which combo do you make fold in a 3bet pot and I see more calling hands that fold. But I am missing vilain 3b percentage which could increase combo evaluation Thank you advance PS : ZOOM NL500 is your standard or just for streaming ? If no what is your stack and volume in order to have an idea (just NL5 with NL10 for me but grinding for 10k win before the end of the year)

    In a few of your videos I have seen where you call a 3b or 4bet with middle pairs, say 77;s-10's, and get it in when you have an overpair, what % would you say that you run into an overpair? I feel like I end up check folding so often in these spots, which is def exploitable. I feel like you will probably say a low %, or else you would not be getting it in very often, but if you had to give a %, what would it be? Thanks for any response.

    Depends on their range - but by calling preflop you've already made the assumption that vs the range they have your pair is good enough to go with on a good board or you shouldn't call pre

    On the bird there is 9s and 9h, so the ideal 88 combo would be 8d8c to block 98dd/98cc - where as I only block one of these combos with the 88 I had so if I'm ever gonna hero 88 I should use the one that blocks both combos first
