I love how in the first in game cutscene, Dracula/Gabriel picked up the chalice *just so he could say that line when they came in* . There was no other conceivable reason to pick that cup up 😂

Loved it, I have only just encountered the Castlevania Lords of Shadows series on PC and can see why they are so popular, I am in a current play through of Lords of Shadow 2 and love the plot point of transporting Dracula into the modern age. The PC port is very good and using F1 ingame, the player can easily see the controls.

I like how at the end his son and him are on good terms and will spend eternity together

Will literally never get tired of this intro and @ 11:39 + the speech and the cross explosion right after. It hooked me. Played the game 3 times. I rather them or a company work on the 3rd and final game then revamp it in another 5 more years God of War style where it was revisioned and worked out.

The intro to this game showing the throne along with the music has to be the best intro ever. Too bad the rest of the game didn't live up to the intro.

Love this game. But DAMN did they make the ending so anti climactic. No glorious flares of a burning body from Satan. No battle with the ACTUAL satan, just a possessed son lol. Good story and way to play the game. I only wish they didn't leave the ending so bland

the game states it before, Satan is afraid to fight Dracula. He knows he's weaker, so he used other means such as deception, or stronger bodies.

Castlevania 64 was my first experience with playing this series. I totally missed out on all the Castlevania games until the mid 2000's because that one game...

If they just made Satan's final battle with Gabriel better... That's the only real gripe I have about this game. (And I wouldn't have minded if we could have had one battle with the final acolyte.)

That game looks fine as is I don’t see the point. Lament of Innocence, however, could greatly benefit from a remaster.

He was always in control as Gabriel Belmont. Even when facing satan. But some areas in this game make him seem really pathetic. That really kills the vibe of him being Dracula

They did so well for their time.. I mean the graphics on this game was soooo good.. its held up well too. It's a little blocky, but no worse than gta 5. And this game is older than it!

From what I understood, there was a ton of content cut out of the game.

I really want another vampire game, maybe free roam with Alucard's flying system

they should remaster this game , but...remove the stealth part that one made no sense.

I can understand the collection having the original three Castlevania games, but I would've loved a collection of Lord of Shadows and Symphony of the Night featured in the Castlevania Collection for Switch. 😪

That’s the whole point of his redemption. He forced to believe himself to be a monster when in all reality he’s the victim. All he ever tried to do was save the one he loved and it destroyed him.

All of us fans received a treat with that epic animation. It's an epic throughout. Hopefully one day LoS will be brought back, remastered for current gen. No telling how long it might be until another adventure will arrive. But if that Sony rumor is true.. we are in for something special

you bro, i always had full appreciation for all 3DVANIAS despite the fact that i was raised in the original NES and SNES era but i guess sadly i am minority since people who like metrodvanias or ol school vanias tend not to be so open minded about 3Dmensional CV games not sure why? i love CV64, CV lament, V curse of darkeness and CV los saga for having so much soul into it yes CV animated series truly a blessing and a gift from the true CV fans that truly understands it the way we CV lovers do as well so happy to see my beloved Vania in suh good hands is up to the fans to keep alive the legacy of the house of the Belmons and Dracula but hey man you may want to check my channel someday since the whole channel is been made in homage to CV and also have several in-depth playthroughs such a full No damage 100% for Castlevania 2 and 3 and 4 etc i sure you ll appreciate it also makes me always happy to find people who values the beautiful virtues of CV LOS i loved so much that i wish both CV animates timeline and LOS just become the same even if it may seem impossible ..

Loved this game

Story and characters were great! But the gameplay was not too great for me to be able to finish the game by playing it, so here I am. This needs a sequel!

What is a man call back tho

This game should have been made on next gen (PS5 and Series X) They could have done so much with a character who's practically a God in a modern day city setting. The game is very dark too. It could've been a dark open world power trip like Prototype!

This is my fifth favorite game of all time.

Many of those that hate are often cause of bias due to the original Castlevania timeline. Los changes so much from the old Castlevainia, the more stuck in their ways, fans of it are just gonna hate. I just see it for what it is, just a restyle and I can say I do like the irony of a Belmont being Dracula. I've played MoF and liked it, the one thing LoS has over the old games is more story to it, but Trevor and Alucard rolled into one character just kinda gives me the willies, my only issue with it so far, I like the character, but still gives me the willies.

I have a one lore problem. That being that Dracula's son is Alucard and Trevor is Alucard's son

I am using Firefox. Just checked on Chrome and it has higher resolutions. Strange because I always use Firefox and I can watch your other videos at 4K resolution.
