It's happened Woolie's totally passed out during LPs and pat isn't about you responding to him most of the time more than him trying to get his rant out. I'm the same way sometimes and I hate it. I think I recall woolie passing out during the God of war LP. So it might've happened then

Bespoke: The Simpsons is actually a family-friendly Castle SuperBeast reference. Meaning, Groening is a time-travelling wizard.

Honestly, I love hearing Pat's detailed reports on the new games he's tried. Even if it doesn't end up piquing my interest, it's still fun to learn what's out there. I've never given League more than two shits, but hearing Pat talk about it was entertaining to me. He even almost tempted me to try it. Almost.

I used to love League, but the hyptertoxic playerbase and constantly-shifting metagame that favors whoever has the most OP build/kit combo waned me off it. I hated being ridiculed for playing the champ I liked with the items I was used to because it wasn’t meta anymore. I do still keep up with the lore side of it though.

The same reason I love Get Into Fighting games. Just being guided through a deep dive into a very specific thing is cool. That's probably also why I like all those "Can you beat this game while doing/not doing this" videos.

@@goldlight1322 Too true. That's why I mainly play SMITE. Besides having the massive benefit of the best control scheme/playstyle making it a true MOBA that can be played with a controller; it doesn't have too many items and even the most "optimal" build can still be beaten with good plays and teamwork. The toxicity isn't nearly as high as when I played League or DOTA either. I remember I got flamed super hard in my first ever match of League playing with and against smurfs. *_So_* not fun.

Yeah it’s like that for me most of the time. At least until it devolves into the chat becoming some weird form of circle jerk or shit just becomes the un-fun side of weird and/or unethical.

I may be on the minority, but I'm actually excited that Pat is playing League. Its feels nice being able to hear him talk about what he finds fascinating, and what he finds annoying.

Honestly listening to the podcast Woolie was very engaged in the LoL info through out. It lead to a very interesting discussion about what fighting games could learn from LoL and its support infrastructure. Good animation though, it was funny.

I like that pat kept talking after Woolie fell.

I animate these using a program I made in Unity. It uses an Oculus Rift as a very bare bones motion capture system, almost like puppeteering, which I then use with Blender. It's very flawed, but it's perfect for fun dumb stuff like this.
