CASTLE CRAGS WILDERNESS & IT STARTS SNOWING - DAY 156 | PCT 2019
Day 156 of my Pacific Crest Trail journey.
MILE 1504.5-1517
I get asked a lot about support on my hikes. I never ask or expect anything as I enjoy vlogging my journey and sharing it with likeminded people. However, if you let the adverts run and not skip them I can earn a little bit of pocket money from this! For those of you who continue to ask how to donate, my PayPal account is; paypal.me/marymansfield79

Scenic; silent and snowy, a beautiful video Mary. Keep hiking...you are a super trouper! X
Still smiling even in a snowstorm. Blessings and safe hiking.
. The snow was beautiful. And that camping spot sweet.
Another cracking video Mary. Keep on plodding all the best from Scotland
Very beautiful! Be safe, prayers!
The snow is so pretty ... and cold and wet. I'd rather look at palm trees.

Yeah, and I hate palms....... but it beats crawling in to a icy bag
I noticed as you were hiking there were berries beside the trail. Then snow. Early winter for sure. Hike On!
Wonderful intro as usual Mary, I loved the wooden bridge 😁 You really pick out the scenery so well, If that much snow was in the Uk everything would have stopped by now 🤣 🤣. Happy hiking my incredible amazing you 😘😘

My favorite bridge on the PCT.
Don't know why, but this reminds me of the great Townes van Zandt - Snowin' on Raton.
Hello Mary, thank you for sharing this beautifully filmed video. Be safe out there. Enjoy the journey. 🤗
I want one of those tee shirts. PCT What Are You Doing To Me I think would be a wonderful marketing item for those that have or will be hiking this spectacularly challenging trail. The hikers all say the trail provides. No people and no animals and you then get snow . So you did indeed get something this day.❄❄❄❄❄
OMG !!! No wonder Mary was late and got hit by a snowstorm in Oregon , she also got hit with snow in N. Cal . Let's just hope we don't see white all the way to the Columbia River .
The nice thing about no people is you can talk on your videos with abandon and not have a care in the world. But, I can imagine it would be nice to talk to someone. The rocks did not look like fun to walk through. Snow this time of year in the mountains of N California would be considered normal. Reminds me of "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas"! Beautiful just beautiful ❄️☃️
congratulations on the 2000 mark.. that's a real achievement! that's like doing a LeJog yoyo & no-one would be that crazy haha! being such a gregarious person it must be tough doing this last slog by yourself but i have no doubt you have the inner strength to do it.. hike on tinkerbell HIKE ON!!!
Oh help! Praying for you, Mary! Beautiful video, though. Blessings
🙂
I'm so excited for you!! My offer still stands to pick you up in Cascade Locks!! I hope Oregon's treating you well!! Thinking of you... Your "Trail Angel" in Oregon!!
Holey moley, you weren't denied PCT "snow experience" outside the Sierras after all. Gotta be rough doing this section alone and no contact with hikers going the other way either.
Yuck, snow is one thing but wet snow is another matter.
