Umbrella for the win!

One great thing about this section is once you are up, you stay up snd are able to do more miles. I love nor cal views. It’s gorgeous. That tent has seen a lot of miles. You will need a secured tent for Oregon and Washington mosquitos that are being relentless this year cuz of the heatwave that won’t end up there. But at least you will have great views in the warm weather. Congrats on crushing the miles and soon be through with CA. Hope you got to touch the Oregon border sign before the fires broke out.

Very nice vlog. Thank you! I would be using that umbrella every sunny day if I were there. I just picked up a therm-a-rest Z-Lite Sol sleeping pad on sale for my fall hikes. I will still bring my inflatable pad, but have this to put underneath if rocky, take rest breaks on it, and put in front of my tent entrance to keep the dirt out and my pack dry and clean. I also bought a pair of ALPS Mountaineering Momentum Tecking poles for half price because I wore out my old ones in the 100MW. 😉

Those foam pads are awesome for naps and lunch breaks!! How fun what great gear for the fall
