It's literally the best book to series adaption in the last decade, I'm not even joking. You can really see that Jonathan worked with them and that he really loves his books as well as his fans.

Omg I thought the exact same when watching the series! Can't remember exact when it was but there was a moment he turned back around the door and excitedly said something and the whole look just screamed I'M THE DOCTOR to me 😂
