The first time I found the show, bits of it were such a comfort to me. Looking back, not only watching Cameron and watching Cameron act (although he is good looking and I won't say that I don't believe that he is). Lucy's story too... I mean, being at least partially crushed and ripped apart on the inside on most or on all accounts and still going on and, despite everything, meaning something to someone she cared about (to Lockwood), it comforted me. I could relate easier to her than to anyone from the characters.

They're literally so perfect for their roles.

They have so much potential! Such a great cast and unique story! Seasons 2...3..4...5..6...7...8....9 ...10!!!!

They only have enough source material for 3 seasons, but I think that getting stuff beyond the books would be fantastic!! although unlikely- 🥲

As much as I am excited, I think the max it could go is up to 3 seasons as they have already covered 2 books in one season. Plus book 5 really ties everything so going beyond the source material will be stretching it and eventually ruining the show.

the special effects in the show were very expensive, so they needed to get a certain amount of popularity by a picked out date to continue, and they didnt.

The way they were saying "was" for a lot of answers as if they were done being those characters really tells me Netflix is done with the show. Unfortunately, all of the 8 episode "series" I've seen have ended permanently at 8 just so the company could make more shows. That's all Netflix frickin' cares about: the more shows there are, the more people will be bouncing around giving them watchtime, which means more money in Netflix's pockets. It's so sad that the company doesn't care about quality shows anymore. I'd really love to see more of this show, but at least I can support the book series.
