Joe is actually quiet and shy on screen, especially during interviews, but when you meet him in real life, he is very sassy and open. Doesn't take any BS from anyone. He said he is not as shy and adorable as Charlie is. He is a very proud young man, and I feel his friendship with the Heartstopper cast and crew has made him much more confident. It is only in these interviews where he gets nervous, as he is not used to interviews.

Their inner animal answer is so accurate Kit is literally Golden Retriever and Joe is Penguin smol and sweet

I’m 51 and this show made me cry several times because I wish I had what Nick and Charlie had and still haven’t found it. I saw a video of kit singing and was impressed, he has a nice singing voice.

I loved this story to an embarrassing level. I have never seen a movie or show, (and I am a huge~! Book, Theater, TV and Movie fan, I believe that the thing that separates humans from animals is our story telling), where every single actor, every single seen and every single cinema graphic was freakin PERFECT. This offering was cathartic for me. I have been out for 44 years, but this fulfilled something in me that has been missing all along. I have seen several other gay love stories, but this is the most innocent, sweet and wholesome love story I have ever seen. When I say that I loved it to an embarrassing level, (Dear God~!) I mean, I binge watched it 8 times in a week and a half. (and I have only ever binge watched one other show, ever, and that was only once through.) What sets this master piece aside from all other gay stories is both that it is one of the first none tragic love stories and it has not one single seen for the prurient of heart. Just awesome... Many tears of joy...

I love how they know each other so well not but still don’t know small things about one another. Their chemistry is unmatched

The whole crew of this show is so chill Whoever did the casting is brilliant

i’d like to thank the universe and the casting team for getting the perfect nick and the perfect charlie for the show😭and to kit and joe for bringing such a dearly loved characters to life in a flawless way. and also they seem to be like the nicest most humble and sweetest people wth i love them sm

I love how they both got their star signs wrong but correctly answered their own character's star sign (charlie - taurus and nick - virgo)

Kit's "YOU KNOW WHAT?! YOU KNOW WHAT?!!" when he didn't guess Joe's star sign was so hilarious 🤣🤣 i love them so much!!

I literally can only see Charlie and Nick so in my mind this is the boyfriend challenge. They’re personalities almost exactly match their characters. Joe is still super soft spoken and Nick always looks slightly flustered.
