I consider this to be the greatest musical moment in the history of the Academy Awards broadcasts.
It's because of this video that I watched the movie. Love this performance and loved the movie even more. And holy crap Eddie Redmayne can sing!!!
Imagine if they all reunited and performed this when Les Miz returned to Broadway in 2014. The standing ovation would have lasted a good 10 minutes tops, and that’s not including the cast taking a bow at the end.
