It was pure genius. I suffer from horrendous anxiety and depression and if i watch The Royle Family it genuinely gets me through it. Its so comforting to watch. And hilarious.
RIP Liz Smith, Caroline Adherne and Geoffrey Hughes.
One of the last shows that reminds you of time before the internet, one of the best British shows of all time.
I find this episode so hard to watch. Especially the part where Nana is having her hair done and singing Que Sera Sera, and Barbara is sobbing behind her
The show was magic...I am gutted over Caroline and Liz.....rest well ladies..save us a seat on the couch...
Such a shame that they will now never be able to make another episode
I keep coming back to the royle Family over and over again as its something I grew up on. I can honestly say Caroline's death was one of the first celebrity deaths to make me cry and I still think about her. Absolutely genius.
Can watch this series over and over again . I don’t think there has ever been a show more accurately represent the average working class British family . So beautifully written and acted .
Nana, Denise, Twiggy and Mary all gone, such a shame
One of the best British comedy shows.
The Queen of Sheba was my favourite episode, happiness and tears.
To all the fantastic cast that are sadly no longer with us rip ❤🙏u guys will never be forgotten
Every time I watch this sweet series, I feel like I'm actually sitting in their living room, and they don't see me, and it amazes me every time, what acting talent everyone has there, and what a great gift it is to be an actor. I know of three actors who, unfortunately are no longer with us. Blessed is their memory.
What a lovely bunch, RIP Caroline
An absolute master class in acting from all of them . So funny .
Four of the cast now gone, the greatest comedy show ever broadcast
I always come back to Nana's death. It makes me cry everytime with the music and everyone rushing into the hospital.
I got to meet Ricky Tomlinson AKA Jim in Galway last Saturday, shook his hand and got a photo, absolute pleasure to meet him,
Roger My Arse....!!! how many years have past?? That scene still has me on the floor in 2022 🤣🤣🤣
Ricky is right. The Queen of Sheba is an absolute masterpiece.
