Caroline Ahearn was one in a million .I just loved her so much!it still breaks my heart ..such a loss to us down here on earth ! she will always be missed on our tv screen.. but definatly never forgotten 🙏❤

What a ghastly year 2016 was. We lost musical giants (Bowie, Prince, Leonard Cohen, George Michael), actors we loved (Alan Rickman, Carrie Fisher, Debbie Reynolds), comic geniuses (Victoria Wood, Caroline Ahern). I also lost my dear Dad, but at least he lived to 91. Debbie Reynolds was 84. All the others left us far too soon.

I couldn't love her more if I tried. Her passing only galvanised my admiration for her. We were lucky to have her. Missed forever. Xx

I was born in a working class family in Manchester. I knew all the people Caroline brought to life in her work. She did it brilliantly. RIP.

I've only just got the news she had sadly passed 4 years ago. The fast show was the first proper comedy i ever saw, I was around 10 years old and remember watching with my dad, both of us in stitches, my Dad also sadly passed away in 2015, watching her reminds me of the good times,❤

Such an underrated talent. Amazing lady! RIP

It is bitter sweet to re watch the Royle Family not only because she is no longer with us but the amount of cigarettes she smoked in the show. Everytime she lit one up its sad.
