Cass Scenic Railroad 50th Anniversary & Railfan Weekend 2013 Pt2 5/19/2013

I went up to Cass WV to take part in some of the 50th Anniversary celebrations of the Cass Scenic Railroad which started in 1963. Here in part two we will see Sundays photo runbys from Cass to Whittaker, including the triple race at Cass.
Shay 5 is a 1905 class C-80 Shay built for the WV Pulp & Paper Co, later the Mower Lumber Co has been going up and down the line of the Cass Scenic since 1905.
Western Maryland Shay 6 is a class C-150 built in 1945 by Lima locomotives work. She is the last shay built, and the largest preserved.
Shay Number 4, is a Lima Class C-70 Shay built in 1922 for the Birch Valley Lumber Company, of Tioga, West Virginia in 1922. Mower Lumber Company at Cass, West Virginia acquired the engine in 1943 and re-numbered it No. 4 where it has run since. Shay #4 has been lettered for the Cass, Greenbrier, Cheat, & Bald Knob Scenic Railroad, for the 50th anniversary. This livery was from when the Cass Scenic tourist operation was first proposed in 1961.
