When it says “mini” keys, is that just in length or in width too? Will learning to play on this make playing in a real piano difficult due to key size difference?

width is much narrower. it is still playable. just like ukulele is still playable even though it is a mini guitar.

And the action. Piano teachers will tell you to buy a good used electric piano with pedals and weighted keys. Not one of these, or even a much more expensive electronic keyboard.

@@AutoReport1 this is obviously not a main practice piano. It is an alternate portable keyboard for knocking about. I use mine very successfully in the car and at parks, etc., and for practice sessions with others including vocalists.

@@superblondeDotOrg you aren't "learning to play" a piano then. This isn't a beginner's piano, or a cheap practice piano. It's a cheap electronic keyboard with far more voices and rhythm settings than a good electric piano for students. If you want a cheap portable keyboard for making music, this is a good option. If instead you want to learn to play the piano, this is not a good choice.

@@kossakhok3997 it has sustain better tones more polyphony, octave shift and transpose oh, and you can layer two tones at a time

It looks like they got rid of the staff display on the g-clef and f-clef which was on the SA76, only to replace it with fairly useless permanent display of "tone #" and "rhythm #". Tooo bad, a big reduction in feature.
