Got one of these. This synthesizer is great for practicing, I love playing it quietly at night. Nothing special in terms of sounds and effects, a fairly standard set of GM-style sounds. I wouldn't use its sound in music production, but for practicing it has decent keyboard, great feature set, it sounds nice and clean, IMO better than similarly priced Yamahas.

e-473 prawdopodobnie wypada lepiej, jeśli chodzi o casio to jest prawie że szczyt ich cen, a yamaha ma przecież dużo droższe kategorie instrumentów, z których funkcje i brzmienia mogą spływać do tych tańszych

Super in doubt between this CT-s500 and a Yamaha MX61 for gigging. Is the MX61 really worth the price difference in terms of sound quality? I mainly use piano and organ sounds. Function-wise, I don't think I'll use or need more than what the CT-s500 offers.

Well the mx61 is basically the motif and we all know how great and legendary that board is. You can actually get both and it won’t be over a grand. Zzounds offer monthly payments too on both. The Casio on the other hand is new as far as development. AIX is a new relatively new sound engine but like I said the Yamaha is the motif es basically so you most def can’t go wrong with that one. I have the mx49 but I’m still considering this joker. It’s too tight.

There is no comparison between the 2. The MX is 100x better in every possible way. You can't even name user registrations on Casio, so it forces you to bring a notebook to the gig......haha

Not if you take the effort to learn the Registrations by heart or just write them on a good old fashioned piece of paper... 😉@@ChrisP3000x

Well, I own a Korg Kross 2 and I can tell the acoustic piano sound sucks. This casio piano sounds much better, but Kross is a synthetizer, so you can tweak the sounds and create new ones if you want. It's way more powerful than the casio

Tengo un CASIO-CTS500 y no lo recomendaría desde el punto de vista de la calidad del sonido. Este es un gran teclado para practicar o tocar con acompañamiento, suena mejor que Yamaha comparables, pero en general el sonido es bastante plano. Para sonido profesional siempre uso Rolands.

Pretty much but it’s built to accommodate all musicians. Plus with sounds from the classic keyboards of Casio like the CZ series. Each one has its own flavor.
