I can only partly imagine the pain and stress of having to leave out parts of the book in order to fit a rigid two-hour time frame. I always wonder how much, Casey, the changes were actually where you felt you were improving what you had written. Where you had second thoughts after the book was published and felt the need to tweak things when given a second chance. I do appreciate the skill in which you, Matthew, and others were able to condense down the novel and still retain the essential elements. I also appreciate how the movie did NOT cut off the romantic parts of Henry and Alex's love affair. And yes, like I'm sure you have heard from countless fans, I am past just liking and enjoying the book/movie, all the way over the scale to the supreme obsessive (in a most positive way). Thank you and all involved.
