Omg thank you and congratulations on your new position 🎉 the best tip I can give for case notes is put them in as soooooon as you talk to a client. DONT let them pile up and also don’t be too detailed, you never know who else is reading them. Come up with a note format that works for you. Such as DAP notes, SOAP notes, etc.

Can we get a part 2 to this video? Also, can you discuss what made you leave your job of CM? I received my Associates in Psychology a few years ago, but I have done nothing with it. I plan to go back to school, but I was thinking that maybe I could use the degree I currently have as a start, if possible. Would you recommend I do any volunteer work to get some experience?

I am on stella walker program through Dallas County. And I also have SSI. My problem is my caseworker somehow always miss the deadline for me to even move out or adjust my rent. Now I am in the in danger of being evicted because my case worker did not do anything with my paperwork even though I tried everything I could to call her and get in touch with her to no avail. How can I go above her head because I am in immediate danger of eviction?

Thank you for making such a great in depth video on how to become a case manager. 🤍 I will be graduating next year with a bachelors in fashion merchandising, but I have recently developed interest in obtaining this as a job after college, I wanted to know if you think it would be hard to land this job with a unrelated degree like mines?

  • @AniyaDanyea

First off congratulations on graduating and honestly no, I don’t think it will be hard as long as you know how to tweak your résumé to fit the needs of the job. So on your résumé I would put any human services related skills and experiences that you have or any jobs that correlate to customer service being organized, etc. things like that.
