I have an older 1845C it may not have all the latest bells and whistles but that little machine is tough as nails.

Good job, I'd like to point out that you can by an MTL cutter off ebay as well for the same money and it is a much heavier built cutter also has a full guard across the front. I bought one and it's an absolute beast of a cutter. You have a good rig there albet, good job

I have a New holland lx885 with the aux hydraulic control on the top of the right drive lever. Not sure if case is the same, but would you have to hold the aux lever over the whole time you are operating the mower? I have run a newer machine that had a switch that supplied constant hydraulic flow, but I am not sure on my older machine. seems like it would be hard on the wrist to hold that handle over for extended periods of time.

This one was for a friend so can't really comment on price. From what I've seen people charging online it can vary greatly based on region. I personally wouldn't do it for less than 100/hr but I'm also not a professional.

Just bought a very nice 2001 Case 1845c with 567 hours. Need to add a brush hog. How many blades on that beast?

Wow, you kicked butt on that. How many acres? I'm getting a hydraulic flail mower for the same work. We'll see how it goes.

Thank you! I believe it was right around 4 acres or so that actually was cut before we went back and did some tree work.

Thanks for the video! Do you mind if I ask what your investment in that rig is? I have a side business and want to add a track loader/brush cutter. I have had to turn down jobs due to the fact that my bush hog just won't cut that big stuff. Thanks again!

A skidsteer can run from 10-70k and up depending on what you are looking for. I would recommend an enclosed cab. The cutter head is your run of the mill from eBay I think it was just under 4k but there are far nicer ones for 6-20k all depends on what you are looking to do with it.

I'm getting a 325G skid steer on tracks with a 60" brush hog attached in a few weeks. I watch some people chew through some big shit like yourself and be fine. I'll watch someone else hit a piece of a stump that isn't even connected to the ground and they sheer a pin. I know some of it has to do with the operator but is a skid steer setup less likely to have this problem or is sheering a pin not an issue with hydraulic?

Depends on the angle of the cutter head, the concern being debris coming into the operator area of the machine, I have since sold this Case and cutter head but I would say about 6-7 feet was safe
