Al U. Jr. had every right to move in and take the angle for the lead. Fittipaldi went into the wall but that’s racing. Great risks give great rewards.

1:08:27 - A piece of the tire barrier or wall enters Emerson's cockpit and he immediately throws it out.

I don't remember this race being as good as it was.Very competitive towards the finish.Little Al was completely unapologetic about the incident with Emmo on Lap 110.Completely forgot about Mario breaking a half-shaft that close to the finish.This track WAS an improvement over the previous Meadowlands course.Sort of a short oval with a couple of chicanes and sweeping turns.

Jackie Stewart is great, especially breaking down the Fittipaldi/Unser crash. I'm just working through old Indycar road races and wasn't expecting to enjoy this one as much as I did. The course is interesting.

En la maniobra del toque entre Emo y Jr , Emo se vio como un novato . Es él el que toca a Jr por porfiar la maniobra . Después dijo que Jr se puso en un lugar imposible para hacer un sobrepaso (una declaración digna de un novato) . En esos meses , Jr estaba con todo , ganando carreras en CART , también ganó el campeonato de IROC , corriendo contra campeones de otras categorías . El sponsor de esta carrera en Meadowlands fue Marlboro y creo que eso fue lo que más le dolió a Emo , ya que estuvo de líder una gran parte de la carrera y habrá pensado que no se la sacaba nadie

Jackie using the excuse of 'bright eyed and bushy tailed' for booting Emo off was bizarre...Jr was a very experienced Champ car driver at this point and it was a terrible pass. If that was today's soap opera F1 there'd be at least a 10 sec penalty, and a week of screaming lol.

Sir Jackie did a David Hobbs-level job in the overview of the new Meadowlands track layout......But he'll never be at Mr. Hobbs' level, at least in that regard.
