10:31 what a great guy Jim Crawford was! Never saw him without a big Scottish smile on his face. He retired in the early 90's to St Pete FL where he ran a fishing charter which my family hired once when I was a kid and he was the exact same great smiling guy and gave us a great day in the Gulf (and we caught a great load too!) His run at Indy in '88, in his usual stock block Buick, after recovering from almost career-ending injuries and still needed a cane to walk where led 8 laps and was running P2 with only 6 laps to go (and got loose, flat spotted his tires and his subsequent pit was a s-show that cost him a lap but still finished P6) was inspiring. RIP Jim, hope you're hearing those sweet bagpipes somewhere...

This brings back so many memories I was born and grew up in Long Beach was at every Indy Car race there and when it was Formula One back in the 70s

Bruno Giacomelli, Alfa Romeo, formula one, early 80s. These cars look great, especially Beatrice lola & Budwieser & Miller cars. The precious fuel ⛽ Good race.

I assume that would be the former Indycar and F1 champ Jacques Villeneuve's Uncle Jacques in car #76.The former was only about 14 in 85, and his father died in 82.

34:50 The guy at the right front takes the old tire off then leaves over the wall without putting a new tire on. Everyone on the crew is just as calm as can be, waiting for someone to put a new tire on, and Page is like "What a great stop!"

And then there's Emo, who gives a wonderful, detailed description of the racing line, gear, bumps, ect. and then says "I don't like it at all." lol
