Yea these lyrics are hitting me hard right now. In November my daughter gave birth to her first child and she was born with 3 of the most rare heart defects a baby could be born with. It’s hard as hell spent our first 2 months with the baby in PCICU she has to have a total of 3 open heart surgeries. It’s been hell and my daughter is now dealing with severe depression and postpartum. My wife and I are trying to take most the burden from her cause we know what she is going through. We have 3 grains of sand to climb now a 4th with my daughters depression. She took off last night shut her phone off and wouldn’t answer the phone so we thought the worst. I sent her this song and she came home a few hours later she was crying and said she is alone. This tune got her to turn and come back home. Cause she has to know she ain’t climbing this mountain alone. We are here we will always be here I just hope she can find peace and know we’ll never leave her side. We’re all in this togather. It don’t help that the scumbag baby daddy is rejecting this child I’m bout ready to put a bullet in his head. He’s part the reason she’s in the state of depression she’s in. Not sure what more I can do. Just hope she can see that we’re here always and forever in her corner.

God is so good.

I was going to end it all 10 days ago because of bullying. I'm no longer suicidal, but I am looking back at the time when I was worrying about the future and listening to this song. I don't know why I didn't just love people in order to be loved back. I now love myself now and all of the people around me. *Note to you* If you are being bullied, then just try to love them like Jesus loved us first, and then see how helpful love is to others and then to you too. Peace out brothas!

Carrie has that problem. Even though it isn't her fault. Yes, Carrie was trying to send message with this song. Problem is Carrie is so good as a singer, plus it was her debut as a co-writer of the song. And country music brass and radio stations created such a fuss, they didn't want this song to be successful. A reality TV singer isn't supposed to be an excellent singer and songwriter, which Carrie is.

Bittersweet song for me...lessons learned by this cowboi. I spent a few years under a bridge myself after coming home with a decimated regiment from Afghanistan in 2008 and barely survived...and lost my wife to cancer in 2010. I've lived to survive war and now alcohol and drug addiction. No more am I a waste thanks to a new faith in Christ. Thanks for the inspiration Carrie! Love ya!

Because out of a lot of people in the world most of them like me have sat around and did those things. But when you figure it all out time is already winding down. What you wan't to do with your family, or friends better be the good times because time does move fast. So like the song says "You better make it count cause you can't get it back". Enjoy the moments you have with your family and friends. And definitely talk to God and Jesus in these situations.

Carrie has the hands down best voice in female country...she is such an inspiration and her faith has remained strong through the fame and the money. What someone to truly respect and look up to. Such a beautiful woman with talent like crazy!

I share this song often with my friends because it touches a place inside of you that we sometimes forget about. Whatever you believe, you just have to know that whatever life is throwing at you, no matter how bad it may seem today, tomorrow it will be better and the mountain you were struggling to climb really is just a grain of sand.

I came to see Christian Kane and stayed for the beautiful song.

The music teacher in my old, OLD school made us sing this for a recital. The fifth grade teacher at the time was a great singer. She was the one that sung the chorus for us. I finally found this song a good eight years later, and i wanna cry...

I feel like giving up everyday, and then I find songs like these and think: I'll miss amazing opportunities, like graduating high school, going to the college of my dreams and seeing my children and seeing my brothers children and my friends and family would miss me, and I just can't give up on my horse after how strong he's being for me and my boss who's done so much for me since my father's passing. Everyday I'd love to be with my father, but I know it's not my time to see him and he's doing everything he can to help me be happy in my life. I just have to keep trying and I know one day I'll be happy again.

What a beautiful song by Carrie Underwood. I have to add that Christian Kane is absolutely amazing in this video. I can truly feel all of his emotions without ever hearing him speak. This video always gives me chills.

My favorite song by far

I forgot this song existed. And I needed to hear it again. It feels like the miracle I was needing or something. I'm a mom of 4, and a wife to my best friend. Life is so overwhelming these days and I lost myself. Feels like everything has been crumbling around me. I found this song again. I was irritated with my 3 year old. Yelling at her while laying her down for bed, and mad at my husband. This song made me realize just how deeply I love my family. I cried. I grabbed my daughter and were now laying down together, listening to this song. I texted my husband who's innthe living room and letbhim know I love him. This song hits so different when you make your own family...

Its crazy because I completely blocked this song from my mind for some reason but im pretty sure it literally saved my life when i was younger going through some really tough times. Bless this song.
