Great song!! As I sit here in 2020 there is just to much hate and chaos in this country. Music is my escape and so thankful to all these wonderful songs!! I think Karen is looking down and knows now how much she is loved and missed💜💜💜💜

Karen Carpenter had what it took to make a outstanding singer💐💐, outstanding drummer💐💐🥁, and she had a good heart💐💐💛💛!! I just wish I could have met her when I was a Child and had gotten an autograph from Karen Carpenter on one of my🧸🧸 Teddy Bears, since she also collected Teddy Bears🧸🧸. I am sure that Karen Carpenter is now singing with the angels in Heaven🌈🙏🙏💛💛💛💛 !!

Oh yeahhhh. A really special spiritual experience, and the first time that i've made it i was only a 6 years old kid. It was immediatly Heaven on earth for me, LOVE that becomes a voice, and first of all a voice that made me know what LOVE is!

When John Davidson holds her in 2:37 you can see all of the hurt leave her. It's almost like he is saying goodbye.

Beautiful song, what a sweet voice she had, mellow, and velvety with clarity, no one else had one like hers. Nice montage of her dancing and playing the drums too!

This is one of my favorite songs. I love how Richard expertly layered all the sounds. Especially at the end when it's Karen and Richards' voices multi-tracked. It's truely a Carpenters song to the utmost degree. I love the positive message too.

oh carpenters............how can i forget you tell me? how can i? you are and will be always there in my mind. when i recall those good old memories i think of you and your beautiful evergreen voice with everlasting songs just came. i know those days have gone n life still goes on. i don't want to collect your songs. whenever i feel sometimes when i am into the blues, sometimes in this scorching reality, sometimes in rainy days....i just play and listen n remembering my past. your fragrance of voice reminds me of my adolescent days, lost faded memories, unsaid words. love you carpenters. love your songs. thanks youtube once again for bringing back memories......

This song is one of my favorites. I especially love the end when Karen and Richard do the multi overdubbing to turn themselves into something like 12 voices. :-)

I always loved Karen's shoulder length layered hairstyle! it was so classy and timeless! I love 70's hairstyles, women back then were most classy than they are nowadays! And Karen's voice is AMAZING as usual, I never heard this song of hers, but I liked it just like I like all of her other WONDERFUL song! :) LOVE YOU KAREN, the world still misses you, know that you are still loved, now and forever! :)

I loved all her hair styles except for the perm near the end. She is cut with bangs, with her hair up and the shoulder length like here. She is super cute in a baseball cap too.

Amazing, she could sing, she could play drums and although being a tomboy originally man can she dance. Very impressive for a little girl that questioned her talent beyond baseball and skating. The more I learn about Karen the more I like her.

Karen just ran in freaking high heels. If that isn't proof that she was more than the average human besides her beautiful voice, personality, and drumming abilities, then I don't know what is.
