Caroline Mutoko. I've always consider foremost writing as a means of communicating. While I'm not a professional writer in the sense of being grammatically correct. I wanted to communicate my experience to the world. So I put forth my best effort in writing an e-book. My book is called "Remember the Rainbow: An Instinctive Sense For Grasping the Nature of Things." If you would be so kind as to read my book I would appreciated so much. I'm quite sad by the fact that no one has read the book in full to appreciated learning about my experiences. Thank you.

You are a woman after my own heart Caroline. I was also influenced greatly by what my father read, among his favorites were Mario Puzo, I remember reading 'Fools Die' in class 5! I climbed through my parents bedroom window to get a hold of 'After 4:30' haha....The best books I have read in the last 2yrs are...'Americanah - Chimamanda Ngozi' 'The Book Thief - Markus Zusak' and 'Outliers' by Malcom Gladwell...and the thing of remaining a kid at heart is also true, I love Diary of a wimpy series [Jeff Kinney]. I am extremely grateful that my daughter also loves reading and we spend hours in companionable silence each curled at their corner with a good book - the girl is 16 so you can see how that makes me happy that she reads just as much as she 'whatsapp's' Thanks for this, we share a passion for reading.

Caroline, we both share a love for the same books though I prefer fantasy to espionage and you've just reminded me of how riveting the Chronicles of Narnia series are. I read all seven books and I'm keeping those books so that my future kids can read them, along with the Harry Potter series

I recommend (Stride Towards Freedom (Martin Luther King Jr) and Alex Laguma's " In the fog of the seasons' end". In the desert scenario I would go for a book on Algebraic Geometry.

I have been following and watching your clips for sometime now. You are a reflection of what I could be if I made the right choices in life so I intend to.I'm a Journalism student, a writer but a lazy writer. I badly want to make it a habit and I'll start with Fault in our Stars because I've watched the movie and it drove me to tears.

I get you I can't give you fav book or author sentence. AN AVID READER can't decide its like asking a parent with multiple kids to choose a fave. But its good to push people to seek knowledge and sink their noses in books. It's the best way to escape.

How come you don't have any African authors / books on your list.... If you get the time please try Baba Segis wives. much love always
