Hello my friends! Today we are going to visiting Carolina Beach State Park. We are going to hunt for some native carnivorous plants that grow here in the area. Then we are going on a hike to Carolina Beaches tallest mountain top. Surf Loaf is a 50 plus tall sand dune hidden on the backside of Pleasure Island. I was joking of coarse when I called it at mountain. It is just a big dune.lol

Another great video! If you pay close attention when you hike the trails you might notice some speed-bump looking lumps running through the woods. Those were also used by the soldiers in the Civil War. So much history! My son put all the trail markers along Snow's Cut Trail for his Eagle project. The ranger gave us a very nice history lesson. BTW... there's an Eagle Project marker at the trailhead behind Foodlion, that's my son's. ❤
