I loooooove the way she says Therese. Carol is a beautifully filmed and acted film.

All I can say is thank you so much for this film. It's so poignant, beautiful, and heart breaking. Every frame is so meticulously rendered...patient, painterly...just perfect. I can't think of another film that affected me as profoundly as Carol. A masterpiece.

Love her character and her voice... It sounds very luxurious and warm like expensive liquor 🥃

It was very interesting what she said about the character of Carol in the movie vs Carol in the book. And Carol in the movie was both way more developed and also more sympathetic. Some of that no doubt was the script, but a ton of it was because Cate Blanchett is such a good actress.

I noticed that Cates newly adopted baby daughter is middle named Patricia, also Rooney used that name once! I really hope its not coincident!!!!😍😍😍 Rooney loves her and its easy to see, but maybe shes not allowed to push it furrther under circumstances… thats why i sometimes feel sad for actors and actresses, on one hand they experience more and ordanary people but once the casting finished they need to cut their feeling and move forward. how could one survive the emotional loss if her dream once came true yet would be gone so quickly. seriously its better never than ever 😣
