Actually, Alcaraz didn't even seem bothered that much with Medvedevs game. It was almost too easy for him. The Sinner match up is harder to handle. Sinner has more pop from both wings and doesn't stand back out to the light pole to return serve, or throughout rallies. Often times he's the one up at the baseline putting pressure on Alcaraz. You really didn't see that from Medvedev.

Well Alcaraz loves the slow court, he has more time to retrieve balls and arm his shots. He struggles much more against tall players on fast courts because of his short wing span. I think one overlooked weapon of his game is the amazing amount of pressure he puts on the second serve. His rival has to either take too many risk or try to secure his first serve. And it is constant all over the match. I'd like to see stats about 1st serve speed and number of double faults of his rivals
6:20 what can you do against that forehand? It is not even near the line but that speed and power is massive.

I hear you Carlos makes me love and enjoy watching tennis.
Incroyable mais vraie. ❤
graceful like federer, speedy like nadal and limber like djokovic. plus his own talent, skills and mental toughness. that is why he is above and beyond everyone now!
Carlos outfit made it looking even easier to do... he is on holidays or what hah. Didn't give a change for Med to play his short forehand cross in long distance and in short he covered volley like master. Tactically incredible, he have done what he needed to do, great execution with power and strenght that is so pleasant to watch. Cant wait for more!
Vi el partido,,,, como decimos aca en Argentina. Alcaraz le rompio el ocote rapidito..... un Capo Carlitos y sus entrenadores, salu2 al mundo tennis
these forehand stops are awesome good
