This man is absolutely insane. He has created a myth out of his career… 36 and this guy goes 4/4 slam finals winning 3 of them. All that during the “Alcaraz hype train” year… all that at 36 years of age…. I dont think another human being is more in tune with body and mind the way Djokovic is…

That second set was a championship set indeed! Props to Novak for staying clutch and not falling through in clutch moments, that was the key for the victory. Great journey for Meddy as well as he didn’t only win Alcaraz which was incredible, but also Rublev, De Minaur, who apparently happened to be his kryptonite as of recently, and even Baez who was on a 12 match win streak. He fought through brutal conditions like no one else and not anyone pointed that out how all of that could’ve affected the Daniil’s physique and his mental state. He could’ve also made some history by beating Carlos and Novak at the same tournament and especially on a grand slam. Insane path and he should be proud of himself and learn the corresponding lessons. It will help him boost his confidence too as he’s realized he can beat anyone on tour, no doubt. He will be better next time for sure!

Nobody will face the same adversity and political persecution, unfair decisions and ATP bias against him to stop him from winning more slams and counting more #1 weeks. Unforunately, the fairness has been stripped away from his numbers that deserve to be EVEN BIGGER than they already are. But he gained something bigger than numbers. Legacy, he became a symbol for all people who haven't forgotten what principles are. This man surpassed sports, that's why he became, the greatest athlete to ever walk on Earth.

Bravo Djoko !
