Carl Jung - How to Find Your Soul (written by Eternalised)

Carl Jung, in full Carl Gustav Jung, (born July 26, 1875, Kesswil, Switzerland-died June 6, 1961, Küsnacht), Swiss psychologist and psychiatrist who founded analytic psychology, in some aspects a response to Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalysis. Jung proposed and developed the concepts of the extraverted and the introverted personality, archetypes, and the collective unconscious. His work has been influential in psychiatry and in the study of religion, literature, and related fields.
In this video, we explore Carl Jung's search for the soul - which entails making the unconscious conscious, confronting the dark night of the soul, shadow work, integrating the anima and animus, and achieving wholeness.

The soul usually knows what to do to heal itself. The challenge is to silence the mind. There are too many games people play in a world that is constantly stealing attention away from the things we truly care about. I like my job and enjoyed it, but there was something not right. After I got injured and it was disregarded by management, I realized my life was more important. Again I'm struggling financially because I held a job that a mediocre company might feel I'm overqualified for their position and won't stay. This speaks to my SOUL, in which I am still trying to reconnect with. I always try to be self-reflective of myself on why I do things and why I find joy in certain things and not the others. And while my mind constantly tells me that I need to get into dancing or some kind of creative arts since I utmostly enjoy them, I never find the motivation to because I am constantly "procrastinating" on this journey of enriching my mind with social medias and meaningless distractions. Totally aware of my situation, yet succumb to it. Totally understand what AS said about the narrow and uncomfortable road to find my soul, yet I refuse to take it. Not that I don't want to, I just somehow can't. I hope I will get on this road soon because I can really feel it calling and warning me of this path that I am sleeping on...

Jung, in my opinion and from personal experience, has shared with the world some of the most important esoteric/phylosophical/psychological information to be found anywhere. I fully subscribe to his phylosophy and although I'm certainly not perfect, I can say I managed to put in practice his most important teachings, such as those mentioned in this short presentation. It actually makes me very proud, as my life being a complete mess right now, I can still say I've either understood or directly experienced every thing here mentioned, and it's this very understanding that keeps me afloat, as it continues to remind me that all I need to "cure" myself is surrendering to the universe, and while I wait make treasure of this struggle. One of the most amazing experiences one can have is the synchronization of the inner self with the world, creating a path of synchronicities that never fail to amaze you. In a particularly good moment of my life this synchronization lasted for months, where everything kept perfectly falling into place. I can tell it without the risk of sounding arrogant because right now I'm experiencing the opposite, and one thing hardships do, and do well, is humbling you, it's Nature's way of reminding you that it can all go away in a blink, to be ready, to respect and trust Her. Remember, after all the old addage "hard times make strong men" is absolutely true.

@@thevagabondsageinthewoods Thank you for the kind lines, to whom I actually fully agree. Our lives can in a way be compared to the big cycle of the ages, I mean the Yugas, as the way our life begins has all to do with our karma, if prior to this incarnation, regardless if in material or spiritual form, we accumulated good karma, our life will obviously start on a good path, but this is not really the blessing many people tend to believe, although still an advantage, as like everyone else ( or at least that's what we are led to believe) we are born without any memory, which will inevitably cause us to make mistakes, shifting from Satya to a less positive phase, and it's here that our learning process becomes the most important thing, as the sooner we learn the laws of karma back, or natural law, the sooner we can start climbing back towards the "Golden age". Many variables influence this phase, such as your parents, where if you're very lucky will explain to you everything you need to know, or if you aren't, will send you to catholic school where nuns beat the fk outta you and teach you absolutely nothing of value, forging inside you a rebellious spirit that will accompany you the rest of your life, which in a way is great but from a different perspective it totally fkd up my teens (yeah it's exactly my story 😅), ranking enough horrible karma for, let's be creative, a couple B movies, Anime or something, which took me around ten years to unravel and brought me back to Treta. But! 😅 And you wanna take this with a pinch of hu0mor, the universe, or more precisely, Saturn, has different plans for you, He wants you to learn the final leg of your journey through struggle, so maximizes your karma debt giving you the worse possible hand, which explains my original comment and leads us to today, where I'm not gonna reveal my plans to avoid jinxing myself, but I can confidently say I'm working towards the elusive Golden Age from where I started, possibly finally closing the circle both of this life time and of my Samsara cycle. Best of the best wishes to anyone walking the path alone, as one should, cause it certainly ain't easy and need all the encouragement one can get 👌🏻🖤

Thank you for this brilliant video. Much appreciated. I am very much into IFS (Internal Family Systems), worked through 10 books and also did 1 year of IFS therapy with a Certified therapist. What can I say ? Jungian psychology is similar to IFS, we indeed have parts and once we start working with them, everything changes. We find our true source of love, our true self ❤️ I also did psychedelics prior to starting therapy. They very clearly did show me how real the subconscious world is. I had no idea before. They didn't heal me, they showed me what I had to work on. Mainly inner child, trauma. So yeah, this integration between the conscious and unconscious is essential. This changes everything, this brings peace, love and harmony not only to our own lives but also to the lives of others.

Thank you. Love this. Now I don't have to read the Red Book. Wholeness... your own path... a mystery to be explored. Now I understand why balance is not emphasized. It's analogous to gravity. It's a result and not a separate thing. The same way time and space are emergent from the electromagnetic mind... As the egg and chicken are one with all of it... The dream and reality are directly tied to each other. Without the mystery, there can be no life.

He made me feel like I was selfish, egotistical to want to act. I’ve never wanted fame, only to act, and making a living off of it would be amazing ❤️ he’s a lost soul himself.

Discovered Jung through his "Memories Dreams Reflections" when I was 17. The healthiest perspective I have ever encountered among "western" people. One day perhaps I will read his "Red book"? I found my own way long ago by developing an ability to watch, as though in a physical mirror what was occurring within myself. I also made a practice of checking myself, impressions, thoughts, impulses against the tangible evidence of reality in order to locate evidence of error in my inner processes that I might otherwise overlook.

@@hoppas77 For me it is defined as non-dualism or the Tao, but they’re just words. It is source of everything and creation itself, pure awareness. It is ultimately unknowable and indescribable and can only be experienced to be understood as a nod of understanding for those who can relate to the same experiences.

@@hoppas77 I would say yes, conciseness is awareness itself. The universe experiencing itself through infinite perspectives to give itself meaning. When I got to this point, I realised how “weird” existence is but also how fundamental you are the universe existing at all through direct experience feeding back on itself.
