Joe was an unbelievable talent . . Who would have beaten the absolute brakes off froch . . . He beat kessler with one hand . . Then battered everyone else . . There will never be another Calzaghe!!! . . . Absolute legend and a genuinely really nice fella.

People seem to forget Joe used to knock people out all the time until he had problems with breaking his hands. So he showed class and adapted to the situation he couldn't be undefeated breaking his hands every fight . Calzaghe was the definition of a boxer hit and not get hit and adapting to situations that's what boxing's about not knocking people out all the time that's why calzaghe is a true champion. I love how hard a chin froch has and heavy hands. He's a great boxer but calzaghe like I said is the definition of a boxer .if he was from abroad he would be one of the greatest all time only Americans love their own.

This is why I like Froch. Usually the response to someone saying someone else would have beaten you would be "no they wouldn't have!" But Carl thinks it's a fair assessment. I think Joe would have beaten him too through sheer work rate. Joe was one of the fittest guys to ever enter the ring. He could fight the 12th round like it was the 1st. Barely any boxer can do that these days.

Frock against Jermaine Taylor 12th round last minute. That's an engine when he was done on the score sheet. Personally I think Andre Ward would of beat Calzaghe if they was in the same timeline. He was that good he couldn't get anyone with the bollocks to fight him 😂 so even though froch lost fair fucks to him for stepping in the ring. And going the distance tough warrior.

Maturity & Respect have now become part of The Cobra’s Forte! What kind of Boxer / Human Being would he have been not believing in his ability, regardless of how you favour him or Joe??? They have total respect for one another! Two of the best British Boxers! At least he always called out Joe in his prime at any given opportunity! Not many would’ve done the same thing and turned up for the event! Better to pull each others legs and talk about a missed opportunity and bad timing! Joe is, Well Joe Calzage! End Of! A Legend brought up the hard way! A one off! Carl certainly is a warrior and entertainer! He deserves his rewards! Ever seen him shy away in a fight? He’s toned down his persona now with time passing and is honest and true in his assessments of fights! The Welsh Wizard is set in stone! Time for the British Public to welcome Carl on board FFS! 😎👍🏻💪🏻

Joe would have beat Froch with ease. Joe genuinely was one of the best of ALL time. Even with dodgy hands. He had amazing speed & timing. Most forget he put Eubanks down early before the hands went, so he had power too early on. Carl beat most, but he got beat by Kessler, who Joe was the first man to beat having previously gone 38 unbeaten. Plus Andre Ward, who I believe Joe would have also sorted out without too much trouble. And who knows what would have happened with Groves had the ref not stepped in to stop it. So for me it’s a simple one to call. Calzaghe all day, every day!! 👍🏻

Always wanted to seen that fight, it would have been a good one. I reckon Joe would've won too, Carl was a great fighter but think Joe would've been too slick for Carl, both tough boxers, Joe's speed and work rate was unreal, Calzaghe unanimous points victory in my opinion, shame they never fought.

It would be a tough and close fight but Simon Jordan is spot on saying Joe would win on points.

He couldn't land a punch on Andre Ward so how was he going to land one on another unbeaten legend in Calzaghe?.

Joe was very well managed this reflects in his 0 on his record. He was told not to fight Froch becuase everybody knows Froch has a granite chin, so the special Calzaghe slap stoppage would not of worked in this fight.

Froch ‘s talents improve the more he stays out of the ring. Joe would have boxed his ears off, without doubt. Carl talks a better fight than he has ever produced. Even so I respect any fighter that gets into the ring.

I think Joe wins, yet nowhere near as easy as people would have you believe. Ward was the only fight I remember Froch getting schooled.

Froch got me back watching boxing again, especially with the George Groves fights. A true British legend and he's still great as a commentator and always a joy to listen to.

I was a calzaghe fan from 1999 when he fought Robin reid at the then tele west arena i think it was called buts its had a few names since then, To be fair though i think carl froch is a top guy too and was a top fighter i would go with simon Jordan and say calzaghe win on points
