    Hes not wrong really no Froch no matchroom in it's current form meaning no stadium fights guy had a 5 fight contract with matchroom and they were all classics had he linked up with eddie hearn earlier he would of been up there with the UK greats literally went has atleast 7 classic fights

  • @corneliussmiff2773

    He is correct. Sky had stopped doing PPV Boxing after the Amir Khan debacle and then linked up with Matchroom shortly after. Carl's first few fights on the MR banner were on Sky Sports non-ppv the latter few on Box Office and the rest is history.

    Ward was a class operator and fighter, you blow smoke up mayweathers arse who was alot more defensive and boring and good though he was he picked his fights to suit himself he definitely wasn't keen on Pacquiao when he was going through that purple patch toying with the likes of Cotto and Del la Hoya where as Ward took on all comers, he moved up a weight to take on the most feared fighter at the weight in Kovalev,so Carl stop contracting yourself be honest and true to yourself and give credit where credits due

    You really going to criticise Mayweather and not Ward? Ward’s fight with Kessler made me sick and it probably the worst fight in history, closely followed by Klitschko v Povetkin.

  • @tatshore1984

    @tatshore1984

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@mattg8600 i don't understand your point, now I'm not a fan of Ward but like i say credit where credits due, Kessler was at the top of his game when he fought Ward and Ward systematically beat him up,i can remember the fight Ward was slipping alot of Kesslers punches,it was a decent enough fight to watch plenty of action and Ward was on the front foot,which proves my point he ducked nobody fought the best in their primes and even moved up a weight to do it,you can dislike him but to deny that is just same as Froch is doing,he knows he's wrong but just can't come to terms with being so soundly beaten by the much better fighter, by the way i wanted Kovalev to win both fights against Ward
