michelin on the marana’s are only covering the middle and the toe cap, ppl overhype it and it didn’t last as long as i thought, the suede was pretty durable. For the joslin the michelin is covering the whole sole, the stitching didn’t last as long but the laces kinda ripped. Both of them have great insoles.

Brian needs a signature shoe called the SPICY BEARD. On some part of the shoe it needs a fuzzy suede or faux fur that looks kinda beardy and a Habanero pepper toe cap!!!!!

Not gonna lie bro, this might be one of the cleanest reviews I have ever seen on KZread. The editing is 🔥🔥🔥.

I am very impressed with these shoes. I’ve been skating them for about 5 sessions so far and they’re great! It took a couple of sessions to get used to the feel and flick. I must say it’s not a complete vulcanized shoe, in fact it’s a hybrid of vulcanized and a cup sole . I don’t jump down much these days but these shoes do take well to impact. The shoes could be a bit more durable as the triple stitching near the logo began to rip after only a few sessions but the shoe still holds up fine. It is a bit on the pricier side for a skate shoe but I think they’re worth it if you can afford it. I’ll buy one more pair just because I want another color way. Now as far as the logo. I like it; it’s simple stylish and quite original. Love watching these reviews bro. Keep killing it 🙌🏿👊🏿

I like the logo because they kind of seem like wings on my feet. I often think of the greek god hermes and how he had wings on his shoes to help him go faster and fly. The design just makes me think of that all the time so I love it. Also I would love some chicken fried rice I'm starving 😋

@@christianflores I found out like a week ago in an interview with him and then I read a comment that said they are now available in the US, so I guess they’ve been selling them abroad which makes no sense, but oh well, and when you read up on them they highlight their impact protection and I instantly thought of you, I do t jump down big stuff anymore but I thought you might appreciate what they are trying to do, and if you know Jaws then jumping down big stuff is what he does.

The nike logo was hated when it first came out. How you feel about a logo mostly comes from what you associate with the logo. Because the logo is new, people feel weird about it, but graphically it is a solid logo and if the company continues to have success and people associate positive things with the logo, they will love it.

@@guillotine_cutIf a brand actually wants to create an image they need a logo on their shoe. Otherwise how will people know that their favourite skater is actually skating cariuma?

Finally, a true designer comments on the logo. Christian's opinion on this matter is superior to any none designer/skater. That being said, whether you like it or not is subjective of course. I like the shape. I just think it does make the logo the focal point of your outfit, because it screams for attention, while it's not as minimalistic as a huge Nike check. Also, it's not as minimalistic as the 3 adidas stripes. So subjectively, it's still too complex for me to be aesthetically pleasing.

I’ve been skating these shoes for a month now. They are really comfortable and durable but I wouldn’t mind a bit of padding on the tongue and the sides because late flips (or impossible) kinda hurt if they are not well executed. Besides that, it’s a great shoe.

Idk man, this review is kinda sus. He's pretty easy on these shoes. Most of his reviews, even when he likes a shoe, has some serious digs at one thing or another. The whole handy he gives the logo is weird. I'm wary of the relationship both he and this company have with the berrics.

@@soulgunner6455 my personal opinion would be yes. but the only difference from the catiba shoe design and the barrics shoe design is the logo on the catiba is stitched on an the whole middle is canvas unlike the barrics shoe.
