Caring for the HOME | Encouragement and Motivation for the HOMEMAKER

Caring for my home and those who dwell within is my greatest joy. The title of Homemaker is one to be worn with pride. What an honor to serve those we love most.
In this video you'll find me completing everyday tasks, cooking up some yummy food, feeding the chickens, making a flower arrangement, offering up some encouragement, motivation and tips for us homemakers.
Thanks for watching,
Kelsey

Love this video. I’m a stay at home mom now for 3 years, lost my job after 17 years when the pandemic came. My husband and I decided for me to stay home with my 2 daughters. I feel I made the best decision of my life to stay home. I’m so blessed. My oldest is 15 and my youngest going to be 9 this month, they love me at home.

Definitely glad that I found you! I've been struggling lately in feeling like what I do as a homemaker really matters and I really needed to hear your words. I honestly burst into tears as a calming relief washed over me. You are doing another kind of important work...encouraging other homemakers to keep following after Christ and loving our families! Sometimes we all need to be reminded that we matter.

Seeing your little boy eat his breakfast seeing how cute he is makes me emotional.. I wish every child could feel safe and loved like this in the mornings at home with mom. My son started preschool and I miss him at home so much… husband doesn’t understand why I want them home I guess? I’m a sahm but I feel like he’s going to pressure me to go back to work once our youngest is old enough… why can’t he see how it’s hurting me? The society we live in is so messed up

My best friend recommended you. This is exactly what I needed to hear! I have been a homemaker for 11 years now with 2 kids. I pulled my kids from public school and have been homeschooling for almost 3 years. I know it was the best decision, but I still struggle most days with feeling not good enough. I keep telling myself Proverbs 31:28.

I wish I would have had this encouragement when my children were little. I didn't know any other homemakers back then and struggled a lot with my work in the home. Thank you for helping other young mothers/homemakers!

Love this so much! I’m 60 and raised 5 children as a homemaker in my youth! If it wasn’t for the Lord in my life it would have been way too overwhelming! But each day is new! He will help you bless your family if you trust Him to! Love that you take the time to arrange flowers! I didn’t do that enough but still one of my daughters grew up to be a florist!

So grateful to hear a younger person encouraging other young and even older ladies what to value and how to value what the Lord has chosen to bless each of us with, and to learn contentment through those blessings, be they large or small.

My mind is blown right now. I’ve been holding off making Dutch baby because I didn’t own a cast iron skillet. I know. Which homemaker doesn’t own a cast iron skillet? I’m going to make some like this within the week. I already have breakfast planned for the next couple days. Thanks!!

I miss my mom so much, she was very much the homemaker… proverbs 31 woman everything that she taught me and what I witnessed. I’m single unmarried but I still serve when I’m in peoples homes. Even while living alone, I take care of my home. because God was the very first home maker and everything starts at home. I see how chaotic things can be when the home is not tended to. I’m very motherly to people, not on purpose it’s just how I am. I try to hide that side of me because I don’t want people taking advantage of me.
