Car Restoration

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This video we took two 2014 Chevy Impalas and made one good one.. One was hit in the front and the other was hit in the rear. We decided to rebuild the one that was hit in the rear. The cars were cut apart and both usable clips were clean up such as peeling back the frame layers, drilling spot welds, etc. Once both parts were prepped and ready we then attached them temporally together by self tapping screws until alligned properly and welded. we finished up the bay work bleed the breaks and took it for a test.
I know this is a quick and brief over view of the process but we hope you enjoy it. the Car turned out great.

Very nice job! 👍👍👍It isn't legal where I live and it would never pass the MOT, but I have, or had, a colleague that did it anyway and he got away with it! He was a certified "panel beater" a true master craftsman, and he merged two Mercedes 500 SEL together, one smashed in the front, the other one in the rear, just like this one. It went straight through the MOT test and they didn't discover anything despite they were very thorough. He got himself a very cheap (he didn't pay much more than scrap metal price for both of them) and luxurious Mercedes 500 SEL.

Thanks for the compliment. We had to have the car go through an enhanced inspection in order to get it titled for the road. (Which is a reconstructed title).

@@RebuiltRestored No worries mate, and we do not have a title like that in my neck of the woods (Northern Europe) although we should.

For sure. This car was for a family member so we didn’t sell it but it was still quite a bit of labor👍
