Car Fire on my street
I heard some girl screaming then I began to smell an electrical fire and heard a loud noise. So I went out to the balcony and saw the two cars on fire!!! I don't know where the screaming girl went. It might be unrelated as her screams sounded further away than the car fire. By then all the neighbors were out and had their smartphones in hand. No I didn't dial 911 because nobody looked like they were in danger. I also knew that the police helicopter that is always flying overhead would call in the car fire.

Did they arrive with no water in the truck and have to find a hydrant?
They could have been waiting for F500 encapsulating agent. This is a special additive used to put out lithium ion battery fires. The original vehicle on fire looks like a Toyota Prius.
Why don't American fire trucks have hose reels like our British fire enginee😮

Tends to be because we use 1 3/4" line as a primary attack line, and many departments use 2 1/2". These hose sizes are simply too large to use on a hose reel as the reel would have to be very large to accommodate the lengths of hose required...

The only excuse to take 2 minutes to get water on a fire, is the engine couldn't shift into pump gear. However, the operator should know how to manually shift into pump gear. That is down right very poor. If I was on youtube taking that long to charge a line, I would hang my head in shame.

The US fire departments are slow af man every video I see they take the absolute piss to do anything after arriving on scene. Literally every fire in the US seems to always be a loss because their response time is shit then they get there and piss about with their hands in their pockets or just stand looking around like spare parts.

There are less than stellar departments out there Im sure, but the majority of what you're complaining about is scenes where life is not immediately at risk and therefore it's entirely acceptable to be slow and steady. The firefighters don't care about being that 1 second faster so your car is 10% less burned but still 100% totaled.
