I think you’re thinking of Bidoof, because Capybara is actually competitively viable with his ability chill pill, which prevents flinching while making the enemy attack lower whenever they do a high damaging move!

Capybara is actually a pretty good pokémon with cool stats and movepool : HP : 90 ATK : 60 DEF : 100 SP ATK : 45 SP DEF : 95 SPD : 75 It's also a water/ground type.

@@rabidcabbage7230 If it was the case they would be hard counter by fighting moves, which they are not, you can find a video with a capybaras almost killing a pitbull by pushing the dog underwater. The pitbull is cleary a type of pokémon using for fight, the dog keeps attacking during 10 minutes but the capybaras tank the hits. Capybaras are also weak against grass types since they can't evolve correctly in the jungle, they have to stay near water, they can't climb on trees either, a solid normal type would be the goat

You have a few of them in the south I belive in texas and florida but I'm unsure on whether any significant population extends past those two states

This was the "great capybara invasion of the northern Buenos Aires region". They fought hard against the upper class and the gated communities of the area cuz they from the hood, capybaras are creatures of the people and they will defend their ancient territory.

@@sebasvega5782 What's that got to do with grass growing back just in time for Capybara dinner time? I live in the US Midwest and we have Pumas, Coyotes, and Bears here. Guess what? I don't like them. They eat people and if too many of them go where people live, we kill them. The Southern US has massive numbers of Capybaras and also even more massive numbers of Alligators, Pythons, and Boa Constrictors. Still lots of Capybara. We like Capybara and we don't bother them at all and they don't bother us. In fact, they save us money on lawn care by eating grass.

Yes. I love them so much. Their faces are so square and they seem so at peace with everything. Just existing as weird creatures. And their bodies are so round. They are like if a coconut had a square face and was as big as a medium sized dog.

Actually yes... Recently ppl from Tigre Argentina was kinda pissed about the Capybara invasion in the zone... Well call them "Carpinchos" here if you search for that term on KZread you will find a lot of local news about them 😊😊 my favorite one is Carpincho Tomando Mate

I think they are originally from the Amazon, I'm impressed by how well they have adapted to other climates, Argentina gets really cold in winter.
